Replays in NFSU

Post by Arayan »

Can anyone tell me what's the EA's politics about the replay mode in the NFS series? Replays in HP2 were limited by only one camera view and now in NFSU demo there's no such an option at all! Is there going to be no replay opiton in the full game at all? Is this some kind of joke or what? Not good gentleman, not good...

I'm pretty sure there's no replay option at all in NFS7 :( EA is getting lazy.

If it's gonna be so, nfs:u will be the last I will play... No replays? What's gonna be next? No cars? No tracks?

Probably in NFS 8 (if there will ever be one) there will be only a few cars, or even only one ..., and a few tracks, or even only one... But let's hope that will never happen...

This isn't the only game where EA has gotten lazy. Most of their games have great concepts and very good gameplay but many important features are either missing or buggy, making the game a lot worse than it could be. If EA spent another year on this game, I'm sure it would be great.

Je they might hear you and spend the next year doing so, and what would we do?

PS.: I think the sports / racing part of EA is getting shiznit. C&C G, especilly Zero Hour, SimCity4 (what I have played, not long) are pretty good.

i think C&C has got worst..........i used to be a huge fan of the series, i played link up on the playstation for months, but i'd say Tiberian Sun was the last good C&C game. since TS........yeah the graphics have got better and a couple of other stuff, but the amount of technology available has dropped quite abit , which made the game so good.

C&C Generals, actually, is a great example of their laziness. When you leave some of your units at yoru base to defend it, the enemy comes...and your units just stand there. You have to switch from attacking to defending your base. Once, half of my base got destroyed and I didn't even notice (I still won though).

EA has been lazy for a long time , I remember that the replay in NFS4 was short in options, then even less options in nfs hp2, now no replay, I think the replay in nfsu was a big part of the game and sadly it was left out... but the good thing is that the game rocks and I plan on buying it the day it comes out :D btw, C&C:Generals is better than some late RTS games like rise of nations, really, still, to me the best RTS games are made by Ensemble Studios...:AoM, AoK... and the best Racing games are made by EA... we all know them lol... w/e Im bored so I just keep talking ****.

Wasting you learn SuperRacer. You now know you have to swich the defence mode if you want your units to guard the base. And if you don't want to press the guard button, then I don't know who is lazyer, EA or you.

According to the IGN's review of NFSU for PS2, the replays are missing in the game.

well, can you just download a program that record what your are doing? then you can turn it on when your raceing, even though you have only one camera view, the one that the player choses to play with. but at least you can have replays. Or some good coders, can me a program for nfsu that records replays, and has all different camera angles, not just 3 but like 5??? Posible or Not?

No, No Lies there, the Game is fantastic, fast and fluent, all the options Drag etc BUT no replays is shocking, imagine what EA could have done with the replays on drag??

Anyone who has seen the fast and the furious or 2fast 2furious would have to say that a replay in that style for Drag would have been awesome!!!

And, one more major thing, THE INFAMOUS PATCH. I got NFSU to play it online and I friggin cant cos EA are so lame they havn't sorted out the patch problem, oooh i'm mad

Lets hope there future endevours dont suck as bad as this one

The game is good even without the replays, I thought it would be worst, but its better than NFS6. EA is lazy, the game has like 10 tracks or more, but most of them, if not all are in the same city, but they all feel different.
I still recomend people this game, I have been an Nfs fan since the 2nd NFS and this is the best one yet.

Good to see that there is a bit of optomism out there despite the downfalls with the game. The ratings ppl gave NFS 6 were shiznit and when it came out here I bought it and was thoroughly disappointed that EA hadn't worked longer and put more thought into the game..
