i think maybe its the ctalyst driver 3.9.for ATI.The game runs smooth but at times it stutters mostly when there are alot of trees even at 640by480.Even motion blur runs smooth but i get the stutter no matter what even if evrything is turned off and down to its lowest.
Specs:
P3 1000ghz,Ati 9000pro,512mb ram,30 gig harddrive.WinXp.
The game runs strangely on ATI
I have same problem mwith ATI Radeon 9800 256ddr on a Pentium 4 3.2mhz overclock 3.4mhz
I can run the game full graphics but the frame rate is really bad a times - But if I try to to run it with motion blur on at anything over 640 x 480 it really judders.
And I'm still struggling with the patch thing!!!!!!

I emailed ATI about this and hopefully they will correct it in the catalyst 4.0 release.

my friends is just not even laoding the game, hes got:
-2.0ghz pentium 4
-256 ram
-ati radeon (for got the series number)
the game don't even work for him this is what it says:
"Speed.exe has encountered a problem and has to terminate..."
somewhere along those lines. It looks like it wants to start up put looks like the picture in this thread but not the same error: Thread Here
thats basically it, hes reinstalled, updated and still dont work. so is this game like an anti-ati gfx card game, bc most peoples work, except the geforce mx 400
sorry for posting twice in two thread, but this is the one i i didn't find until now. ill just go delete my other post now.

video card setup
Perhaps the video card is not set up properly. I have an Nvidia card but I think it's the same issue for ATI. If the video card doesn't have "Hardware Acceleration" enabled, you will get a "Speed.exe" error.
Hope this helps!
