Graphics weren't ... too bad?? What the HELL are you on about? Not so bad ... *grumble*
Uber realistic graphics going to down to an unmatched level of detail even on the rims, precise dimensions and proportions on all cars - they look like the real deal, while you try to compare Underground's Supra with the real ... you'll laugh your ass off! - a sensational Nitrous effect shaking the whole car and making it come alive, a feature showing off raw power, which one WANTS instead of TURNING IT OFF like Underground's -.-'.
Bad graphics ... you guys need better eyes ...
Has the idea of having a full scale RGB color set of 32 million colours even struck your mind? The idea of being able to make your own metallic or pearlescent paints, indicating exactly what colours you want, where you want them and how much you want them to shine through? Has the fact that every modding and high performance part IS licensed and 100% fedele to its RL counterpart ... even struck your mind? ... not too bad graphics ... you've got to be KIDDING ME! Hell ... it's not as shiny bling as Underground, but is your RL tuning scene that? Do cars SPARKLE in reflections in daylight? Gee ...
Now there's another issue ... everybody was crying out loud that there wasn't the possiblity of driving in daylight in nfsu and that we had to mod the sky texture. For crying out loud!! Now you rant against Juiced for MEETING that wish!!
This game IS circuit based, but it has Sprint as well (drag) and two other modes, so don't be melodramatic and narrowminded! This baby has a lot to offer, but guess what? You've only just seen the DEMO!
Those who say the game sux because of something like the menus ... should REALLY consider getting a life ...
Those who say the game sux because the GAMEPLAY is unplayable ... shouldn't blame it on the game ... hey, it's not Juiced's fault YOU GUYS CAN'T FIND OUT OF PLAYING IT!

Right ... enough rant before I get another warning ... sigh. I hope the punks that claim the driving model is skrewed up, DO shut up about it, now that one who owns a Supra says it's just like it should be! This is a simulation, look up the word if you don't know it. If you can't take it for what it is, then don't ditch it and save your face instead of looking like a fool.

the overall gfx is cool... I don't know about painting... I only seen the demo and know you could choose some paints there... including parel...

but the only thing that still bothers me abit are those horrid 2 the puppets the call crouds.... make am look better or leave em out.... I started to watch them.. stoped in front of em... an watched... the move (wave and cheer like PUPPETS... if they change that... I'm really happy cause they know what cars a real race game needs. :D

Stig ... you know you're climbing on mirrors right now, don't you? I mean .. come on! You might as well ditch the game for missing a center line in the middle of the road or so ... the crowds you pass with speed is really the most hialrious excuse I've ever heard.
The colouring issue ... the demo has pre made settings. You can't choose parts, colours, brands aso ... it's all pre made. Of course that's not the case in the full game;). Watch the movies at gamespot and get a deeper understanding of what I'm talking about. You obviously haven't seen any of them.

I'm going to buy it when it comes out, not pre order it. The search for a publisher is still very active and I've only heard a hint of Take 2 jumping in to have a slice of the cake. Yet Acclaim puts up a fight because they claim the "name" Juiced, so the game would have to be renamed and stuff ...
It's all very complicated, so just to be sure that I don't waste my money, I'll just wait till the local store has it.

Actually, you are very wrong.

Wheels spinning is your own fault. Full throttle in a normal car from the street also results in spinning.

And you simply can't drive. It's not arcade. :P The creators of the game are tuners themself.

... man some people are retarded... OFCOURSE does a car have wheelspin if you full trottle it...even if you have a small car wit like 60 bhp you can easely get a spin in real life!

and you the supra can spin out of control.... but that's called realism....

LOOK NFS U(2) is based on pure arcade FUN.. not realism....

lol ... moderator rights ... asslicking sux so big time ... I've been saying this stuff over and over again, Stig drops a line, ALL HAIL STIG :D
Btw, StigMaster, that other guy is an exact example of what I'm talking about when I accuse folks over here to be narrowminded and idiotic. Once should think that after all my posts about this, such comments full of empty words, deign of the one writing them, would not keep cropping up. I guess reading what people who have a brain say about things, just doesn't make it on such person's agenda. Sad, they only end up getting their asses pwned.

OK the Juiced game looks to be much more better, I recognize it. (thanks to Summ ;))
But 2 things has nfsu2 that I like more:
- Free roaming: It has to be exciting to drive wherever you want, and not to be limited.
- Car textures: I still prefer car gfx in nfsu2. Maybe the high reflections or another effect.

The other things on Juiced are better: car physics (apart from real body kits :)) realism, daylight... the world is high detailed as I saw in the demo. I also like the money system and the high number of cars.

Just a question: Will be there any BMW in Juiced? thx.

As far as I've seen ... there shouldn't. No BMW has made it on the list I posted on the other topic.
Things I like about Juiced ...
-carlist
-car physics/handling
-car damages needing you to repair the damages before moving on
-crew based online teamplay
-you can own virtually as many cars as you wish (not confirmed)
-junkyard - you can buy your cars new or used and repair the damage for lower prices or bargain about them
-unlimited graphical LICENSED customization
-dyno for perfect physical performance tuning of your car with real time feedback of BHP and stuff.
-make your own paintjob

I thought SRS had licensed parts...I dunno. I was thinkging about getting SRS, but I heard some negative stuff about it. Plus, Juiced looks totally awesome. :P So I might wait for it.

I'm playing the demo with steering and nitrous on the joystick, while braking and accelerating on the arrows. It works out fine with me, a great combination, tbh. It's all about havng a bit of timing and touch, nothing more. Anyone can do it with a little patience and good will.

Decided: I will buy Juiced game and tomorrow I will get this steering wheel (Logitech® Formula™ Force GP).
Sorry but I won't buy nfsu2 for the moment... maybe play it a bit in a friend's home.

Not the steering ... oversteer is no doubt bugging me with keyboard, but wheelspin and braking isn't an issue with keyboard.
Dani - wait for the NFSU2 demo before saying you won't buy NFSU2. It will probably be a great game too, just not the sort of game I'm after, personally. I'm glad you like Juiced though ... one more converted soul :P
