Another thing I like better in Juiced it is the NOS, it is more effective and you get a relevant extra acceleration.
Juiced demo
yeah the Nitro effect is not as irritating as in NFS U... I only got the lightflare on not the motion blur... but the nirtro effect is still there and it is not disturbing...
BTW I deleted the post by fluffa with the text "just press N"
cause it had nothing to do with the recent text. (probably older question I guess cause the old demo did not have nitro... and it is not true... cause the default setting wasn't the N

Hey now Juiced has his own section
(I was searching a "juicedunlimited.net" site but now I wont need it)
I understand ppl who sais Juiced cars are cartooned (I voted NFS in that poll just 2weeks ago)
--> At first, many sites offer crappy screenshots (xbox) and the gfx arent so good.... an example, this Viper pic:
--> Actually ppl with poor PCs prefer nfsu because it is a game which doesnt need a very good PC. I was happy playing with a 1.4ghz and a gforce 2. But to play Juiced decently you need a last generation PC. I mean my 2.8ghz HT, 512mb@400 memory and gForce FX5200 arent good enough to set everything max. I must turn off Antialiasing and set about 70% level of gfx quality, otherwise it goes slow. Obviously I need a new gfx card. I will wait to ATI x600, maybe in next summer.
Here it is a screenshot from my PC. It is better than the screenshots you see around the net and IMO it owns nfsu(2)

Of course it does
. I don't agree on any of the screenshots on the net being cartoony, but that's me. I don't think you need to have a last gen computer to run it at all ... my 2.3 ghz, 512 MB PC2700 and Radeon 9500 pro handle it perfectly well maxed out and with 4 AA.
It shouldn't be a problem as such.
yep...
the first screens where INDEED toony.... but it has improved incredible...
it is difirent but that does not mean bad...
cause NFS U(2) has a darker atmosfere it looks difirent... but the cars of Juiced SURE OWN those from NFS... not ONE question about that...
anyone who says difirent... is a TRUE NOOB...
and if there is ONE thing... I don't like....
IT'S A NOOB

Depends on your tastes. It is ... VERY difficult to pull off very good times in this game. Most average five seconds slower than record. The Supra is a beast and wheelspins and makes donuts if you don't mind your driving, unlike NFSU. This really puts you in the driver's seat, but you must be ready to jump in there, and not just expect everything to go just fine. If you like tension, a real sensation of a car under you and actually sweating when trying to cut the edge, this game's for you. If you like realistic graphics and accurate car models and handling profiles ... this game's for you. If you like licensed parts and full control of modding your ride .... this game is for you
.
On the arcade issue - there is ONE thing that is clearly arcade in juiced - that's braking. It's like cars are running F1 brakes. I drove sims, so I know that a stopping power like that is very reminescent of LMP1 and F1 cars, but not a modified car. But rest is I'm ok with, and for the fun, it's good value. I'm too sick of NFSU 'atmosphere' so this is a good alternative as far as fun driving.
But for sure, if braking is addressed in final version, it would be more challenging.
