Well ya heard wrong, unless they have an updated demo out or something. The one I played you couldn't even change the controls! The buildings were OK but the car models looked cool. Anyways the damage models or whatever weren't that great, yeah there was damage but you could still get pretty thrashed and not see much.

But like I've said maybe they've got an updated demo or I'm just not at all remembering it correctly.

The NFSU2 prommo car? It seems like it

Post by Sweeper »

Well, here we got the NFSU2 promotion car after browsing by some crazy GT-R fan that has a 1000 HP tuned Skyline, he has obviously been busy with a 350Z as well.
The result?
http://www.exvitermini.com/p350.htm

The main news post on his page says:
I have updated the site with some specifications and pictures of the newer projects.

Especially relevant is the new Nissan 350Z which has been completed for EA Games for use in the new game "Need for speed: Underground 2". The demo car was completely constructed by Sumo Power in a period of 3 weeks - and utilizes one of the first HKS supercharger kits and the very first Do-Luck 350Z body kit. Pictures from the cars release (at Max Power Live! held in Birmingham in the UK over the weekend) and they can be found in the 350Z Gallery.

A number of the other Sumo Power demo cars have had their specifications added to the site, and the relevant pictures and movies will be added, as my time allows.
Enjoy people.

one feature i would like to see in nfsu2 is to paint your bodykits, like when you buy a new bodykit it is white then you have to go to the paint shop paint it the base colour of the car etc.

That's not a feature, that's just rebuilding the reality. :?

I don't think the showroom votes are all off personal taste. So that would not be fare to vote for it to get in the showroom everbody can put there own cars in the showroom. So it is ugly some people like it some not and then we have some people who just go with the bigger crowd.

i don't know if this question has been asked yet but there are too many pages for me to flick through so use tell me if it has

i was wondering, some of the trax in NFSU i didn't like and i was wondering for NFSU:2 if you could do what you can do in GTA3 & Vice City and put your own trax in the game.

Look at them tiny rims. I hope there's an option to adjust the wheel well size so that any rim size will fill it. In NFSU, even the largest wheels didn't fill the wheel wells in terms of length, and it ruined the look of the cars IMO. The graphics don't look that good in these pics, probably just the compression.

I don't know what you're getting at there Dani. So it says Hotel Verona, it's probably advertisement for the real Hotel. It also says EA Blackbox so I would make much of it.

On the issue of the showroom:

Voting cars into the showroom would be stupid... Not only would that cause more falsified voting, but what makes your opinion about cars any better than some other guys? You have an opinion about styling in cars, that doesn't mean it's automatically a good one, or just because a few people agree with you that doesn't make it right.

@^Sparco^: It is a new city but that doesn't mean they can't have some of the stuff from U1 in it. I'm sure that some company's paid to be in the game. Like Burger King, which is in the demo actually. Could have just as well been McDonalds or Wendy's.

look at that texuring its a multi coloured muffler tip, and the trees are 2D. :x i hope it wont look like this when i buy it.

EDIT: i have just realised in that screen of the drift race (with the rx7's) i have seen on the closest rx7, you can see dark red window tint on the side but the front and back, its light black. is this a new visual option or a mistake?
