I would agree on that statement though.
But well not everyone can easily make a picture, other then slapping some text on an existing image

Nice one. Little advice though.
I'd remove the dropshadow below the name.
Try putting a copy of the text below it in the outer green color too
move it 2px down and 2px to the right or something.

I have learnt to make "3d" text so my new signature is cooler than the ancient one. Yippeee!!
