Gamedaily wrote a hands on preview of Need for Speed Underground 2. While their article does not reveal anything new, it's still interesting read for those of you who are not familiar with NFSU2's new features.

I think that Gamedaily gave a wrong fact...

It's also wrong in stating that it'll only have online play for the PS2. As far as I know there will be online for all platforms (except Gamecube and GBA).

I think it's a mistake to...
Bcause if you have a skilled driver behind you (that doesn't make mistakes like taking te wrong turn), you'll never get a 300 Meter lead.

You don't have to make a wrong turn in Outrun. Once you're the leader, you'll lead the way.

i know, but if the follower misses the turn the leader makes...
It's very hard to catch up such a mistake.

I think it's quite impossible to have a 300m or 30sec (whatever) lead if your opponents are not complete dummies...and if so, the game wouldn't be exciting

Then again we could just wait and see, I also noticed in the review that, they made it appear as if every race event will start out as a outrun, when it has been specified in gamespot and ign reviews that the different type of races will have diffeent light indicators, similar to how you'd access a mission in GTA:Vice city, so thats 3 mistakes in this review, so it turns it was really not news at all, unless they announced that there was a demo relaease i could ignore all their mistakes but no, so this was a lame review.
