PCI is better than AGP. twice more data process speed.

It's the thing you plug your card into. AGP is the port that comes with every motherboard these days - it's used exclusively for graphics cards.
PCI is the second port type each mobo has. It's been in use for even longer than AGP. Usually each mobo has 4 PCI ports. You'll find all addon cards are plugged into a PCI port: sound cards, network cards, firewire...

PCI Express is the new standard; you'll only find it on newest mobos and is used for both gfx and other cards. It features double transfer rate than AGP.

Double transfer rate huh? Does it REALLY REALLY effect performance?

And I just found out that the X800 XT costs 550 euro's in Hong Kong..

BTW, so the transfer rate is like this?

PCI - AGP - PCI Express.

i have a radeon 9200, i dl this omega driver from http://www.omegadrivers.net, its gotten rid of most of the lag. it will work for any radeon card, check it out if u need some better fps. as for new cards id think ill get a nv6800, cause they have double the pipes. and about 256 vs.128, i was told by a tech, that win xp doesnt know how to use the extra mem on a 256 card.

after reading a few reviews and tests, the x800 series seems to be the best, even the pro vers. is better than a 6800u, and the XT PL is the supreme ruler. a bfg 6800u might compete though. i dont think u could go wrong with either x800.

If you want to buy a X800 XT, just buy a Pro. Easy to overclock.

actually,the rest components are good...intel pentium 4 2.8G.H.
512DDR ram......i guess they are fine.....

i have just one more question:
can i enable the motion blur ,light trails, headlights and crowds under 800/600 in 9200se or not...ofcourse without making the game run very slow !

If you have a Ati card, you have to get Omega drivers; I have radeon 9000pro and Doom3 runs with full details (on 640*480, but still !) on 36 average fps(fpsScrapper)... With stock (:D) drivers I ran it on 22 fps average. THEY RULE
