OMG that's sweet!! SO the US car-list isn't confirmed about the 2 Hondas. But I'm just curious, is the Integra part of Honda or is it Acura?

Acura is Honda, like Infiniti is Nissan, and Lexus/Scion is Toyota

Speaking of car list, I'm hoping EA will announce the official car list sometime soon.

And I also wonder what year of Prelude (according to sound files) they plan on putting in the game.

Hey A-spec where did you see the cavalier?
I found It in the only curcuit race In free roam in the NFSU2 Demo.

When you guys say you saw a Cavalier, is this Cavalier as in the American car or Cavalier as in the ancient European GM car that preceded the Vectra? I guess either would be a cool traffic car, but I suspect a rusty 1980's Cavalier would fall apart if you hit it - maybe this is going to be a special effect in the full version of the game :) . Actually, having knackered old bangers in the game could be cool - they could belch thick smoke and break down as well as disintegrating when hit. I think old 1970's Japanese and Italian cars (particularly Datsuns and Fiats) would be the best of the lot though, as they were unrelaible when they were new. And after seeing that crash test at 70mph of a Smart Car into a concrete wall on Fifth Gear last night, these would make great Crash Fodder as well.

And why the f*** can I no longer post attachments to illustrate what I am talking about? I'll have to post URL's instead:

NFSU2 is, I'm sure, going to be great!

However, here's a thought for NFSU3:

How about the game takes place in capital cities throughout the world? Or even just in That London (undeniably one of the most beautiful cities in the World, and YES, I AM biased!) It would be so cool, for example, caning it past The Houses of Parlaiment and Big Ben, the Greenwich Observatory, Madame Tausauds & The Planetarium, St Paul's Cathedral, the OXO Building, Canary Wharf, The Tower of London, the Gerkin Building in the City (on the site of the old Baltic Exchange - and it looks stunning when lit up purple at night!). You could burn up and down Regent Street and Oxford Street, along Picadilly/Picadilly Circus, down Shaftesbury Avenue and the rest of TheatreLand, avoiding the CONgestion Charge, of course! You could have Tower Bridge partly open and use it as a jump (a bit like in NFSU1). You could then also open the window as you drive past Downing Street and stick two fingers up at that twit Tony Blair... and get Style Points for it. You could also get Bonus Stylee Points for knocking over the Speed Cameras, jumping over Speed Bumps and driving through puddles and drenching Traffic Wardens.

The Millennium Dome could be used as an indoor Drift Venue (since there is f*** all in it at the moment - it might as well be put to some use!)

Perhaps I should have put this to EA directly and got some money for the intellectual property...

And maybe I should also put the idea of a London Formula 1 Grand Prix to Ken Livingstone, as that greedy winker Bernie Silverstone, er I mean Bernie Ecclestone, has robbed us of a British Grand Prix next year... I wonder if anyone's thought of that :) ...

Oh, and I meant to add, we could have some atmospheric music as well.

For example:

"God Save The Queen" by the Sex Pistols as you pass Buckingham Palace and other Royal Palaces.
"London Boys" by T Rex, just about anywhere really.
"Too Drunk To F***" by the Dead Kennedys, as it is just so apt for all the winos you see.
"I Fought The Law" by the Dead Kennedys when you go on a Speed Scamera rampage (this version is "I fought the law and I won").
"Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks.
"England Swings" by whoever it was (I can't remember!) but we just f***ing rock.
"Jailhouse Rock" by Elvis Presley, when you have been nicked for too many minor speeding offences.

That'll do for now - I'll add more when I think of them...

You got some pretty crazy ideas in there but i don't think theyre gonna make a 3rd nfsu. NFSU2's good enough. So it's pretty much pointless posting these ideas, unless your spamming.

They should make a 3rd NFSU, NightRider - they can make up for what they have missed in the previous 2 incarnations then (I'm not going to run through all the missing items again - these have been posted many many times before in other threads!)

And Neashj - perhaps they are using the old version of the Focus as the new one is soooo boring? The old one looked much better IMHO and also in Jeremy "Kilner Jars" Clarkson's HO. And since Jeremy is God, he knows what he is talking about (except for when he slags off decent British cars, then he is just a c*** who doesn't know shizzle from shinola. The British motor industry needs all the help it can get, after Tony "Tosser" Blair, the man who finally took the "Great" out of "Great Britain", sold everything off/gave away everything to the Germans).

"Whoa, a little bit of politics there, ladies and gentlemen!" as Ben Elton used to say.

But isn't that why they're making the 2nd nfsu. To make up for the things they missed in NFSU. They might as well make a NFSU 3, 4, 5, etc. And i hope EA will let us choose the class of the car like if its a newer version or an older version.

So am I Tyrant - I'm earning so much more money now in a permanent job that I love with a fantastic company than I ever was when I worked for EA... not that I didn't enjoy my time there, just the money was poor and the hours were worse... and it was only temporary... whoops, letting my past slip out there...

I don't think he means the Ford Focus C-max, because it is released already. I think he means the 2005 Ford Focus ZX3, photo gallery can be found here.

FEW things

big disapointment for some!

- Next NFS WON'T be a underground but a classic NFS!
(will there be a other underground?? nobody knows!)
- there will never be cops in a underground game... if there would come
one.. why?? cause car manufacturers don't want it... don't want to look l
ike a illegal streetrace brand! look at SRS had no honda's cause honda
was afraid it was bad for their image! with cops in it
- real cities??? a other NONO! why cause a real city doesn't want to be
added in a street race game... not with real streets and all if it has al the
same streets and corners etc...cause logically they are afraid people would do the same as in the game.. (race on the same "tracks")

btw tnx for the Scenic tour aound the WHOLE of London... we got the point after the first sentence

I hope they come up with an entirely new concept, just like they did with NFSU. I have no idea what that would be, but I'm sure someone @ EA would be able to think of something new and really cool.

Well Im happy with the nfsu2 city look... all what I have seen is beautiful.

Stig had a good point there, it wouldnt be nice to have real cities because mad people could do it in real life. You know... if you do 52seconds in the game, then for some ppl would be interesting to do it in real life LOL. Many accidents, etc..

About the car list: we can't do nothing to change it. It is not that bad IMO...

About the graphics Im confused. The 350Z looks like crap in the demo. But it looks amazing in the 1st screenshot, do you remember?
Image

I hope to get this quality in the final game. Maybe the difference is in the garage or the body parts, but maybe this is a concept art pic :( What do you think?

I think it would be a very stupid idea from EA to stop with undeground, becouse the theme works better than the original nfs, because car-tuning is hot at the moment. And the argument U2 will be the best, and if u make 3 it can't be better! Thats far from true!
Things as licenced parts, bigger cities, more car's, even more customizing (interior), cops (aight, if Honda doesn't like it, its a good argument).
But still, I think we get the effect again we had afte nfs4 (for me).
After Nfs 4 i played the PU demo, i was soo dissapointed! The grafix where identical to nfs 4!
When I heard nfsu was great, I started playing again, and the NFS line was succesfull... 12.000.000 copies! :O

I just dont think its smart to go back to the old idea...
Maby a combo? the supercars (Wich AGREE with cops) in bayside? :P
