has any one found out yet how 2 "hack" the save game files for nfs u2 yet? lol i cant even find the save game directory

I had a brief look at what appears to be the save file. It is in the following directory -

C:\Documents and Settings\%USER\Local Settings\Application Data\NFS Underground 2\*PROFILE_NAME*\

Where %USER is whatever your Windows user account is and PROFILE_NAME is whatever you named your profile in NFSU2. In that directory will be a single file with no extension, named the same as your profile. This save format differs from NFSU1 obviously. I had a brief poke around the file with a hex editor but haven't come up with anything useful as yet. I'm no file hacking expert so hopefully someone will release a trainer or save editor soon. I'm sure it won't be long.

thanks a ton ill try editing it. do u know any cheats yet for it or a site tahat has cheats for it? i already have the regmybank cheat.

You could try to copy the Bin Files on the Nissan Skyline(in NFSU2) to one of the cars that you can drive in the demo

i already have the full version of nfs u2 so id ont need the demo stuff im just wondrin if there are any more cheats besides the "regmybank" one. if someone is far into the game already could u send me a copy of your save profile thing, as said before the profile is located here:

ok i got the cheats ( there avalable at http://www.cheatplanet.com) but if some one has beaten or hacked a same game could u plzzz tell me becuz the cheats dont really work lol so pppplllzzzzzz tell me if you have a beaten saved game !!

I went to the http://www.cheatplanet.com site and I found the cheats. However, where exactly do I type these "so-called" cheats at?
Have you or anyone tried to see if these actually work?

You know when you first start the game and after all the videos there a screen that say press enter, thats the screen, iv tyoed the cheats in and it make a "bing" noise after i type one correctly, but it doesnt seem to work then. Im going to try getting the patch and then trying. so ya. do u or any body else have a save game!?!?!

Without looking to annoy people with my first post whatever happened to playing the game and completing it yourself? Rather than cheating, or using other peoples save files? You feel much better about it afterwards, it's nice to know that you have managed to do it yourself.
