Yes there is, sorry about that, I was in a rush...boganbusman wrote:Is there an ending to this story?
Anyways, my mum took a cab in the US (I shan't mention which part), and the brand was a Holden, a VERY old Holden. And when she entered the cab, all the furnishing etc sucks, she claimed... Once she got back to Indonesia, she told my family about it...
And that's why I voted for Ford! And besides, my neighbour owns a Ford Everest, and I love it!!
Hope you got the story...

How about Both suck (you didn't include that option in the poll!)
Neither are well made and are so advanced that MacPherson Struts are still optional for the rear suspension with the standard being leaf springs!!!
I asked about Multi-link suspension and got a blank look from the Ford salesbloke, who then said "Who makes that? Pedders?"
To be fair Holdens have Maccies as standard but they are still 10 years behind Europe in car design and quality.
But then I do not like either company at all!!!!
No offence, just my opinion!

WTF? The Ford Falcon has the most advanced IRS system in any Australian built car, and many would tell you that it rides better than a Merc.Kaerar wrote:Neither are well made and are so advanced that MacPherson Struts are still optional for the rear suspension with the standard being leaf springs!!!
And you think that it's not technologically advanced? Give me some examples, and then I will prove to you that you're wrong.
that is because merc don't really are that comfortable , they often have bad seats, exept for the really expensive series... and lately it improved overall but still most mercs driving around aren't super comfortableboganbusman wrote:Kaerar wrote: and many would tell you that it rides better than a Merc.
.
btw how long is this going on??
cause it is a never ending story...

i laugh at that notion, are you sure you yourself are not guity of your afforementioned accusation? (god i love tryin to sound smart, although it rarely works
)
you know i havent heard much from you except...fords r good, holdens r crap, nah they handle beter (MOTOR would happen to disagree), no you burn oil....
the fact is early fords had a problem with burnin oil, that is A FACT. My dad owned 2 falcons and had noithin but problems wiv both which included burnin oil in both falcons. along with various other problems that included a particular head compression incident that rendered the motor, well fu***d....
The fact that you like falcons is a sign enough that you do not know as much as you think.
and The XR6 T, yes i sing praises, it has suprosing performance, and good aftermarket support etc etc, but they arent all that much fun when they are broken. and they like to stay that way.

Sure, I might be biased, but so are you. You seem to be conviced that falcons are just crap.
Despite the fact that it has won the Australias Best Car award 3 years in a row, and that it's been rated better than the Commodore in just about every car mag.
And although I might seem to act smarter than I am, remember that I'm only 16.
