70% Completed Game??

Hi everyone..

I just finished the game. I got the cell phone message that I finished the game. But when I press "T" it says I finished the game for 70%. I don't understand this... is it because I don't have some upgrades yet or something? Can someone help me out please?

You haven't fineshed all of the races, you know the ones that aren't on the map, but you just get an SMS about a race. .. .

But just go to your garage end then to World Map, there you finish all af the races. .. .

if you finish the game. go to the garage, there is an option 'world map'
inside there, they are list of all the races, with status completed/not complete.When I finish my game, i found that lots lots of them being left out.
try to complete them all. and see if the status changed, and out run races does unlock unique visual and performance upgrade. give it a try. a finished game's outrun wont give you anything, even you didn't find them all
this is my idea but give it a try.

If I have finished the game won't I be able to get unique upgrades?? So that means that I have to start all over again.. Or is there another solution?

that sounds like thats the case. I think im maybe 30% thru and just realized last night that outrun races are where you get the unique stuff. i guess they are worth doing after all.

Yes you have to do the outrun races before you complete the game or you wont get the unique parts. .. .

I finish my first game and realized that, now i go for a second account and play it all over again since there is no some what savegame editor yet.

But i did get what i left out, now i am in stage 5

while doing the other account did u realise any improvments in your car?
i mean i cant believe that i finished all the stage 3 performance upgrades in my RX8 plus 3 performance upgrades i got from outrun challenges and still my car is 376 KW and the top speed is . and i have the 2 bars of acceleration and top speed are full.
can any body say to me is the RX8 weak or am i the one who are choosing the wrong upgrades.
by the way my 3 gifts of performance upgrade i choosed 2 TURBO UPGRADES = weight reduction.
while i had the chance to choose between them and ECU, SUSPENSSION, NOS, TIRES.

i get the uniques of ECU, tires and suspension instead of others.
it makes a little different for my miata, 0.5 kW increase in max horse
about the torque i didn't notice. 0.5kw (0.67bhp) i know is a little, but thats just ECU upgrade, i wonder if i install the turbo, weight reduction, and the rest of them, how is it like....hopefully there is some tools out there

There are some SUV only races too, I found some when I cruised with my Hummer.
