what i found in the first NFSU was that handling didnt really matter, top speed was the most important stat
however there are tighter courses (street x) in NFSU2 so maybe some cars will be better than others, although it seems the skyline will rule all again

regarding race types:
Street X - I hated that, it's total BS and has nothing close to anything in real life - may be survival racing or smth. it's rediculous - all AI does is try to hit you or push you off.

Circuit - VERY long laps. Some into 2.30 and more - it's ok to do a 2.30 lap in a porsche in Spa circuit, but here...

Drag - I always liked it best.

Drift - only care for it when I needed to unlock stickers and other stuff.

Sprint - ehm, it's ok, but can get annoying with longer races. Still better than circuit. I really like driving fast on the highways though. Very good fun. Especially with bumper cam (to get that speed feel)

URL - this comes up as a nice surprise - but only in the city the races are fun. When you get to the airport - whooo, it's so long sometimes, it's not even funny. And when there is more than 2 races in an event - it's even worse. Besides, the tracks are not actual race tracks, but something like an enlarged Street x. Putting rumble strips on the sides of tracks doesn't make it into a real race track. It's a big flop imho. Especially that you only race in 2 locations - Airport and City. And tracks are not challenging and very easy to drive on.

no kiddin, i played a few circuits n URLs and the total time was like 8 minutes. 8 minutes for a freakin race.. thats longer than most outruns. and i think URL is NFSU2's ripoff of Gran Turismo, if u think about it

well, another thought i can't shake off is how OLD this game feels now - it's the same as Underground 1, but just different cars, and too many old ones as well (seems like only a few were just slightly reworked).

Yes. Wide body kit is the last thing from Uniques, you unlock.

i have completed the final race when there is only 2 cars, and i still only have 62% parts unlocked
i havent found about 6 shops, is this the reason ?
also, does doing the career in hard mode give you better parts ?

first of all, im pretty far into the game, (almost completed my second contract fulfill thing) and i have unlocked the hummer, supra, and that set of cars... but i still drive my miata mx5 that ive driven and tricked out from the start... if i wanna make my main driving car the supra that i got in one of my stock slots, is there a way i can transfer all the stuff ive put on my miata to my supra without buyin all the stuff and puttin it all on the supra? thanks.........

and also, is there a checklist or 100% checklist anywhere in here that i can see what else i need to do? thanks alot guys

nope, u have to buy it all. and stage 2 is not "pretty far into the game" imho

i just completed stage 2 and my car is at 3 stars. .. and i have tonnes of parts that havent' been unlocked

i have won all races and have no scissor doors yet
so must be a hidden shop, or maybe an outrun challenge that unlocks it

by the way, where are our so called 30 plus cars? the euro version has 30, the us version only has 29.... whats up with that!! in their site nad previews theyre like "more than 30 tuner cars" and where are they?

what extra car does the euro/world version have? i thought they both had 29

oh yea ur right my bad... i thought they got the 106 and corsa and US got s2k and rsx... but instead there is no s2k, and the trade involved the civic.. yea so 29 for both games

um bad news.... in the online, US version CANNOT race euro versions, unless u have both exe (legit) files.... which means online racing sucks once again... two thumbs up EA
