NFSU 2 graphics problem

Post by rambovic »

Hi guys i have an amd 2800+ in an Abit NF7-S Version 2 with 1 gig twinx corsair ram and 9800 pro radeon card and have direct x 9c. When i put the level of detail up i can see some things but the majority of the screen is black, the game still works. Any ideas on how to fix this.

You probably have an ATI card and your display drivers are out of date, install the new catalysts and everything will be fine...

Now talking for myself, i have a problem too that i couldn't solve yet, tried everything...

It is a bit weird, but the game is slow to load, after the loading screen. I'll explain. For example, when i go into the career mode go into explore mode the loading screen appears, everything is fine, then when i see the first image, it takes about 10 seconds before i can play... When I press the button for viewing my email or the start button, the pop-up takes about the same time before everything completely appears... I tried installing my new display drivers, (i have an ASUS Radeon 9600XT) i tried to put the details to low with a 640X480 resolution, the bug was still there... anyone had the same trouble and know how to fix??

have you tried turning your res up and level of detail down i had the same prob and played around with the display settings i now found a happy medium with the res set at 1024x768 and game detail at 1 it all works fine for me now hope that helps a little
