Is it just me or do the 4wd cars wheel spin more then the rwd cars when you get it off the start line? Does it change the power between the wheels on 4wd cars? 4wd cars should have the lowest burnout on the test drag track right? When i try it my skyline has a 40ft burnout compared too say the rx7's 9ft burnout thats both with perfect shifts.

few more questions........ :
a) i won a few more outruns in stage 4 and got to choose outta a few upgrades for my car.. they were ECU, turbo and brakes i think... i chose ECU just randomly, and then left... will i get chances to unlock the other level 3 things for turbo and brakes? and how?
b) to paint engine accents, i need level 3 ECU, engine and transmission or somethin... when and how do i get the other level 3 things? thanks
c) can u go back into old stages somehow to do the outruns in em? cuz i forgot to in them, but im doin lots in stage 4...
oh yeah, and im 44% done, drivin a mustang and supra if that helps...
d) i have a trainer that gives u $100,000 when u click the button, and i wanna use it... but not if it screws up my game completion stats... does it make ur % go down or anything? or take away anything in the game? or is all it does is give u 100k and it doesnt ruin any stats or anything? thanks alot guys!!

make sure that you have the highest reputation that you can have, i´m talking about the visual upgrades, buy (at the body shop, car specialties shop, graphics shop) and install all the visual upgrades that you can. for example: spoilers, front and raer bumpers, hydraulics.... you can do the DVD covers with any car you like, even 10 different cars. you need 10 DVD covers, each for a star ( 1 star, 2 stars, 3, 4, and so on and so forth)
for the fourth sponser you need 4 dvd covers, yes
and the widebody is unlocked for 1 car and only 1 design can be unlocked, ofcourse they all r unlocked (all the designs for all the cars) once you have completed the game

So say an engine unique can not be gained twice in the game?
Also, if a unique is like a LV4 upgrade, then why is it that I when I had a LV2 engine, got the unique engine, then unlocked LV3 engine, the LV3 option to purchase was indicating a gain in acceleration? Wouldn't the unique already have been that high? This is as if I buy a LV3 engine right away and then go try to buy a LV2, there is no point because you already have something better.
I'm just P.O.'d that this celica I have with full upgrades and the engine uique is faster than my fully upgraded RX8, Skyline, etc.

It's not a LV4 upgrade, it enhances the effects of whatever you chose ... For example, gaining a unique Turbo, it increases the boost pressure ... Drivetrain further enhances the effects of the limited slip differential ... Tires provide more traction ... Weight Reduction further reduces weight ... Brakes increase braking power ... There's so many questions that go unanswered here. Let me answer some as best I can.
Uniques - (answered a dozen times) You can NOT get uniques that you have missed on previous stages. Miss em, and live without em.
Uniques - Unlike U1 the uniques on U2 do not mean that the car is going to be much better than a car without the unique, ie. LVL 3 and Unique difference is tiny.
No Outruns = No Uniques. EVER.
Cornering/Tuning - To tune your car for best cornering depends on how you like to drive. If you drift corners, you want a car that oversteers and has low downforce at rear... This will cause the car to lose grip and drift at the rear, while keep traction at the front (turning tyres). If you want a car that doesn't drift but turns around corners, then you go for high rear and front downforce, with break bias to the front, braking and turning will cause the car to dip into a corner... Remember the harder the suspension the less roll the car will have, meaning the changing direction becomes a problem... Test various settings until you find one that suits your style, do one at a time, and not in groups...
Uniques - Once you pick an unique you don't get a chance to pick another from that set again.
Painting engine and hood neon - You unlock these at Coal Harbour West, last stage of the game when you find the relevant shop.
Going back to do Outruns - You can not go back to do outruns.

well Boofster, i think u CAN view the mag coverz, but only on the PC. just jump 2 your garage, and there will be an option saying "view rewards" and frm there u can view your signed sponsors, mags, and dvd coverz. i dont think it worx on the systems (xbox, ps2, etc.) cause i went ovr 2 my cousin's house [he has U2] and he didnt have those options.
U2 is very diffrn't on PC and xbox. on PC, u can bounce your car and use hydros on it, but on xbox u can only use hydros. thats what happened 2 my cousin. he found the option 4 using hydros, but not 4 bouncing. and it doesn't say what 2 press 4 hydros or bouncing in the controls.[????, do u know why?]
also, when u get lvl 2 suspension, all hydros and stuff (lvl 2) r disabled (cept when your taking a mag pic). i think thats cause the car is so low that u cant use hydros unless u have lvl 3 hydros.
