i dont get the point, why we cant drive good cars

ok , my reasoning is, after so many races and stages upgraded, your unique performance etc, cannot move to new car

or some newest car, can only upgrade to lvl 2 performance, when my current car can level up to lvl 3 performance

sick of re-racing

any other better solution

for instant, i want to start off with EVO/WRX, but wtf, can only have 240SX, that is pretty boring

i have deleted my profile when i have almost finishing the entire game, due to cant get to drive newest car with lvl 3 performance.

havent been playing, until a better solution.

also MP3 songs is suck, i am still waiting someone who has an idea to let us upload our own MP3 songs

I agree, execpt maybe driving a skyline vs a civic might not be fair, yet those bastards (the computer) get too....

Keith, if you can upgrade one of your cars to level 3 performance items, you can upgrade ANY car to level 3 performance items.

Keep in mind that you can't get level 3 performance upgrades at Megalow Parts. You have to go to one of the other performance shops.

Well I don't see the problem starting off in a RX-7 if you got the cash for it.
Why? Because the AI civics have their special engine.
Which makes a cheating sound and is allways faster.

if i am not wrong, i only get RX7, after some stages, and opening of new routes

tell me where u get RX7

i have driving 206, civic, mazda, 240SX

In NFSU 1 I did drive a RX-7 at the start using a Savegame editor.
Funny thing was that my Level 3 car I still had stock Golf's keeping up with me up to 300 KPH.
Ahem, since when did Golf's become capable of going 300 when in STOCK condition?

Well we all know the answer, the cheating, and the same cheating is in NFSU 2 as well.

excepte; what could a civic or a small 106 do in front of a stage 3 and uniqued skyline? where the game interest, i've been debating all night about why the sky's ans supra lack power and how on earth can a TT get more PS out his engine with same prep level than a sky? the only resanable awnser was, GAME INTEREST ?? so we all got to try the 1 , and all found out the 2 best cars... this time round maybe things are geting even..maybe that is , cause i drive un stage 3 sky online and rancked , well, most people laugh at first , but i do manage to beat the hell out of the suppposedly good cars.... and it does hapen to be totaly beaten by a corsa, so the point is, the game is for fun, and as long a you can drive correctly you can choose whate ever car you want.

ps; i don't play unrancked games cause whats the point racing a stage 3 sky or other vs a uniqued car...? a lot more fun competing on setings and skills, rather than power.....

but i must admit i did get kind of mad at the game for the reasons above , only after was glad with most of what the editors had done....

something I was thinking about with reguard to starter cars and the storyline...

You're driving a Skyline GTR when you crash right...? ANd what are thet worth about $80K - $90K (Aussie Dollars). So when you get the insurance money, you can only (afford to) get a 206, Focus, Corolla, 240sx, Miata or a Civic... I DON'T FRIGGIN THINK SO!!! The insurance payout you get would allow you to get something much more expensive if you wanted to.

This is just one of a plethora of continuity mistakes I have noticed in the game. I do understand that it is a part of progressing through the game. But the story doesn't match the gameplay.

they probably have the game too and seen how he wrote it off and thought stuff this this bastard can only have 10

ALL OF YOU GET OVER IT it dont matter how much work these fellas put into a game it will never keep every1 happy filters an all that stuff there may be a reason for there maybe a reson for every ones problem we dont know so why not just enjoy the game and praise the hard work these ppl actually put into it

Well since the racings and as consequent the car itself are totally illegal and forbidden, I don't see a reason why you should have even a single dollar (or euro :p) for it.
At least, in France, where any modification on the car is going to be totally forbidden soon, even visual one (A law project in discussion.. Since the car manufacturers make and test their cars for 'maximum security', adding a spoiler with downforce or a heavy bumper or whatever you could think of, somehow make the car non conform to the brand's settings. Well...) ; So, in France, you wouldn't probably get a penny if you crash at very high speed in a city with a totally modified car.

Hey, don't get me wrong... I absolutely LOVE this game. It is the best driving game on the market atm IMHO. But I want to see the series continue, and continue to improve. I should probably have been more constructive in this, however when there are many things that need improving, it's tends to get extremely frustrating. Especially when they are things that beta testers should have picked up on.

In NFSU 1 I had stashed away 150k, and where the hell did those cash go?
I mean comeon, I could have traded that wreck of a RX-7 (It is supposed to be your career car you crash) and even that totalled 7 would still with my 150k be able to get a new one.
Now I wonder, who stole my money?
