car changer?

a question about the car changer mod. does it replace the civic/rsx, or just add the 106/corsa?

Well dudes... tested the mod for a while last night and succesfully inserted the civic into my euro version

, and answering your question it does not replace any car... Of course (as always) everything is not as perfect as it looks, since the only way this guys have figured out to insert the cars is by giving you a savegame on which you own it as your first car (with 0% completion) just as you exit the car lot from buying your first car. As a result:

1 - The "new" cars are only available on career mode.
2 - They are not for sale on car lots, you just "own one"
3 - In your case I think you can insert the corsa OR the 106 but not both at the same time on tthe same profile.
4 - us europeans get the civic but not the RSX???!!! why????

Hopefully this guys will keep on working on their mod and find a way to make a perfect USA-euro merge, meanwhile, It's well worth the 50 meg download.

Oh! The RSX can't be added to the Euro version instead the Civic could be added... Awkward IMO... Means it'll be an advantage for the US Version users 'cos they can add both Peugeot 106 & the Opel Corsa!

the RSX is unlocked late game for the US players and is not a starting car, obviously whoever made the save files couldn't be bothered playing to the stage where you unlock an RSX.
whereas i think that both the corsa and 106 are available at start of game for euro users.

yer that sounds about right to me.
By the way where can i get this mod? I own the US version.
