I'd rather not talk about all my failed exams in the past 2 years, but yes it's true ;)
Failed 5 times and never passed is the farthest I came.

my dad swore he'd burn my pc and games if i got bad marks. i know he wouldnt, but he sounds really convincing. :P

My parents would eat my face if I ever failed something. I have come close and got long lectures for it (I'm sort of the educational prodigy of the family). I got a 98% for a grading period and my mom said that she "couldn't find anything wrong with it." Grr.

I don't know if we're talking about the same exams here...
Here you have to pass a certain amount of exams to go to the next grade; it doesn't matter when and in how many attempts (7 is maximum). Each course has the final exam about 6 times a year. In the science field it's normal for everyone to fail a few exams in their path to the final degree. Hell, more than 50% of the people get the degree 1 year later than normal (normal length is 4-5 years, more than half finish in 5-6).

Wow, I couldn't really believe it.. coz you are so good in computing & stuff.. just like what bogan said..
But I guess it's best that we learn from our mistakes & never do the same mistake twice.. it'll make us become a better man.. :D

Well, it took me 3 years to realize I went to the wrong university.
I hope I won't have those problems again.

lol is that odd... to realise it after 3 years...

I did 3 studies... first one I also quit after 3 years... (part wrong wich lead to lack of interest!) after that I rushed trough a car sales study... was working before I got my degree... but after 2 years working I found it so damn boring... I quit the business!

now here I am... as instructor

Only the 5th, 6th and 7th attempt are not free and cost 30EURO each.
So no, it wasn't really expensive.

And I still haven't completely decided what uni I'll go to next; ok I know what uni (computers and informatics) but haven't decided on the program (university study - 4 years or high level study 3 years).

Im going to do 'car engineering' studies... havent got a clue how is it called in English. You know: everything that is related to cars: engines, turbos, etc. There are 3levels and Im entering the higher one: so I won't become a mechanic, but a qualified professional. Like Grez_Supra, the Master 8)
The other 2 levels are low: for younger people who leave the school when they are 16years old. One of them is "Body work + painting" and the other is "Electronic engineering in vehicles"

I will be able to work in garages, car lots... Also supervision jobs, etc. The most interesting option (and the most expensive) is to create your own tuning garage :!:
That would rock, cause in here there are only RICING garages. Intelligent tuners would come to me 8)
I would make special discounts for all you guys ;)

Yeah.

My only uncle, about whom I have just talked in the Favorite food discussion (LOL), is a mechanic. He lives in Germany and was the boss in a "petrol station + garage" store.
Now he has left the petrol station (workers used to steal money, so no much profits... ) and only works in the garage. He wants me to go with him, but I want him to come with me LOL. Hopefully he will help me economically, but I dont want to beg... I have never done that.
