oo yehh..i agree....and about the NA vs turbo..i totally agree....it would takes some serious tuning for NA cars to match up to turbos....flatblacksleeper wrote:Not sure isnt the EK9 (there is some engine not sure exactly) the enigine they made in japan that had a 11,000 rpm...and weretn there only 100 (100 somthing of them) of them made.....that is not really what i would call "avaiable". But......the point of the matter is...its a frickin supra one of the "power cars" in the tuner industry, yet it is the worst car to drive (in the game). Yes i have been in a STI before for your 280 question. As far as 400 horses ago...counlndt agree more, most likely any car that not a Ferrai, Porshe, Lambo, merceds ect wont do it street legal. And yes i am well award that NA cars can be faster then turbos at hight level due to "turbo lag" but gettin a car up to the hight levels is very hard without a turbo, not saying it has not been done because it has,
supra is one of the power cars..in its category...so is the spoon ek9 in its catergory...depends what cars you like....
i honestly prefer he civic...hehheehehe
wel unless u have twin ball earing turbos...ur turbo will have very minimal lag....even though there is...always lags...

EK9 type R is with the K20A engine, thats what i read from a magazine sometime ago. those high rev engine most of the time is a short stroke engine. K20A has a 86 X 86 bore and stroke (read from magazine also, dunno whenever it is true), yet i dun think its short storke enough, perhaps those 11000 rpm EK9 is with a B18 or a B16.
About the supra engine, the 2JZ indeed is a great engine, refered as a japanese torque monster in one movie clip that i have (jap drift king-kei inside too) some japs tunning company did tunned the engine with 60 Kgm torque at a very low rpm (3000rpm if not mistaken), the car is not about some BHP monster is a well balance track car, supra not only popular with its 2JZ but also its chassis.

hmm... thanks anfrey for the confirm , and the chassis code of the 2 door civic in the game. i've forgotten onother high rev honda engine the F20C
: P
but wonder which engine does flatblacksleeper refering to .....
still remember from that magazine that comparing power to weight ratio between the EK9 type-R and the DC5 type-R (both in K20A), of course EK9 is better in this point.....

you mean EP3-R? the EK9 is the civic type r from the previous generation. the current type r is EP3.

oohh okay.. well nevermind, any one of those high rev DOHC Vtec/ i-VTec is good. H22A prelude, alot people say that the H22A is the father of all VTEC, yet rumours around that Honda bough the Vtec system from the BMW, the VTEC currently Honda having its a prototype of BMW's VANOS (heard of it ??), BMW feels that the VANOS I is not good enough (i terms of reliability? wonders...) Honda bough the pattern and enhanced it. Now BMW is using the VANOS II where it is fully dynamic (varaible valve timing according to your rpm you currently driving, a real-time VTEC), where Honda's VTEC operate by sensing in rpm stages. Those are rumours. any idea ??
help
whats up people.. i have a problem unlocking the parts.. i beat the game.. i just found out that i had to do the outrun races during the stages to unlock some of the parts.. does anyone know what to do to get the parts without starting the game all over?... thanx
