i would prefer rx8 for serious racers with a good opponent, not the AI one
and i usually drive ae86 because it's so damn fun to play with (easy tailfishing~)

You guys know what I'm going to say - but I'll say it anyway.
The best all-rounder (IMHO) when properly tuned and in my hands is the Vauxhall Corsa.
It is particularly good for StreetX, where I hit almost 120mph (level 2 tuning!) This seems fast to me, maybe others disagree, but what the hey - it's my opinion. I can't wait to get it tuned all the way to level 3!
And it kicks bumbum in Drag as well.
Although I have discovered another EA feck up saying this. I have just tried to do the last drag by the airport on Level 4 in the Corsa. Completed in 26.something seconds, at 215mph max and still could not win it. I bought a 2005 Mustang, set it up the same as the Corsa, completed in 29.something seconds at 193mph max and won by a country mile. WTF??? This game has seriously buggered AI if you can only win in a slower car!!!

stop arguing! its a DAMM game thats not realistic....bloody hel...this game got nothing to do with how the cars actually performs in real life....and a 206 cannot even reach over 180 unless u buy a complete new engines....i dont know...engine transplant....stipid EA...
i found out GTO drfits more then a FD....wtFF is up with that....a aAE86 should drift easier than any of the more power monster cars....AE86 is actually a underpowered car...it laccks pretty much everyfing..but its good in tight coruses...sicne its lightweight...
