Cars Dont Load Properly And Only The Outline Appears
Opponents Crash Into Walls (When Im Leading) Push Select End Up On A Highway And Gain Double The Lead
Car Colours Screw Up On SUVs In Multi Playa Often
Wen I Use Nos I Slow Down Until I Let Go (And Im Definetly Using Nos Flames Smoke And All)
The Screen Flashes And The Other Player Some How Gains The Lead

Gees, I never knew a PS2 discs could be so sensitive to scratches. Well at least the PC discs is not that sensitive...

if it's a pirated copy, its a really bad pirated copy. not that i would know anything about it
.
and wat scotty said was true, PS2 discs are essentially dual layer DVD's, or at least the most recent ones anyways. since the disc has two layers of data and the tracks of a DVD are much tighter than on a CD, one small scratch can do quite some damage.

I had to buy a new disc for one little scratch that ruined everything but the main menu. It's serious stuff. Fortunately, I got a good deal.

maybe you should get your PS2's laser cleaned a bit. if it works, it cant be as badly scratched as you think. and plus, i dont know what game it is. some discs are dual layer, for example, some of the more graphically demanding games. games that would take up less space only require single layer.

It could also just be some glitch that went on only a few copies:P With EA, you never really know... I wouldn't be surprised though... this game was kind of rushed out...
