In case you don't know me, my name is B.Schmidt aka Shocker and I'm the admin of NFS-Planet.
I am aware of the "stealing-problem" and as I already mentioned in the news, just send me a mail if you discover one of your cars uploaded by an other user. My e-mail address is [email protected]
Please include the links to your cars (e.g. on NFSUnlimited) and the links to the stolen cars on NFS-Planet (not the picture, the URL to the detail page with the description). I'll check them and in case the cars are definitely stolen, I'll delete them and ban the user from the contest.
Unfortunately I don't have time to watch this board and this thread, so please drop me a note. I can only handle the complaints I get per mail.
Regarding the voting: I am aware of the fact that there are some voters, who do not rate fair and use up- and downvoting in order to get a better ranking of their own cars. Unfortunately there are about 6000 votes so far, so it is not possible to track every user manually. But don't worry, all votes are logged, and I will write a script within the next few days, which filters such up- and downvoters, so that the ratings are getting fair again.
@^Sparco^: Rating your own cars should not be possible anymore, sorry I kinda forgot about that. The votes on cars from their uploaders will be subtracted soon.
Rating cars twice should have been and be impossible, since all votes are logged by ID and IP.
