Being that my trusty old CRT 17" monitor finally bit the dust, I'm in the market for a new one.
I want to get an LCD 17" or 19". I just want to hear what LCD's you'd recomend or have and have had no issues with. (Installation/compatibility issues, dead pixels, response times, waranty/oem support etc.)
Thanks.

Samsung is supposed to replace every monitor with a dead pixel within the first six months of purchase.
Pretty good choice then, plus they have nice designs
The lowest response times today are 12ms, highest contrast ratios are up to 700 or 800:1. But I think low response screens come with lower contrast ratios.
Warranty should be 3 years.
If you have DVI, then go for a monitor that has DVI input.
