I would buy a skyline R32 or R34, and make it look like the one in my garage I think ^^
and then spent the rest of the money on making it road-legal :?

 @ EMPTYwords

I would get a 350z and would mod it to make my nfsu1 350z.

That is 70k.

With the other 130k I would create a new tuning garage called SpeedStation. My major wish is to lead the tuning scene in my country 8)

With the benefits of the garage I would make my nfsu2 RX8 :P

Then I would have to take a hard decission: which of those cars will be for me and which one for my future wife?

I would take that 200k buy a rundown old house for under 100k, fix it up, and sell it for a hefty profit, repeat the process during a number of years, until i become stinking rich, then i would be able to buy several beautiful cars exotic and normal cars all done up, in particular the Ferrari 250 GTO.........

Since the only exotics that I can think of that fall roughly into the $200K range are Ferraris (nice, but for some reason, not really my thing), and Lamborghinis (a little overweight, and from what I've read, fragile), I'd have to go with the $200K modified car. I'd probably end up leaning towards a modified Corvette (a Lingenfelter, or something like that), or maybe a RUF Porsche. I'm interested to see what comes out of the C6 Corvette and 997 911

or a more sensible idea that was mentioned a time ago..start u'r own garage..then everycar that u make will 'belong to you'

Also, just for the record, helicopters arent all that fast. The Police Squirrels top out at 140mph in the UK.

There was a chase a couple of years ago (less than 20 miles from me incidentally) involving the police and a stolen 911 GT2 (996). The GT2 obliterated the following police down the motorway. He was caught though, he parked the car in a nearby barn, the thermal imaging picked up the engine heat from inside the barn, and he was arrested. Its been on TV a couple of times, Ill have a look and see if the vids floating around on the net.

Wow, thread necromancy. :|

Ah, whatever. You can't get in much in the ways of exotics for $200,000, though I'd probably get a CaymanS or something. :)

Can you stop kicking VERY old topics?

There isn't much to tune on M6 engines anyway, unless you try to bolt on a supercharger or something like that.

Can't be done anyway, compression ratio is too high

pft.. 200 grand.. i'd go and buy some new lotus elise and put a turbo on it. there's my 2 cents. why the elise compared to ferrari or porsche? lightweigh, less horsepower, probably better for everyday driving. i'd hate to spend more money on gas than on the actual car itself, you know?

Don't make me laugh, it hurts

If you drove a Lotus around the streets every day, your spine would be reduced to a quivering blob of jelly.
