i hate this site, and everyone on it

Post by macdaddy »

mine took me 30 minutes at 11. yeah insomnia!

SUPER EDIT: Rigga, your chop seems pretty weak, you just copied and stretched the body parts, and tinted the windows loads. The front bumper reflection looks too strange

I don't really like any of those chops, but I voted for D because he used a bit more creativity than everyone else.

Well, I don't have Photoshop, so I think it's harder to make the cars look good

^ it would be harder, but you could do some smaller, tasteful mods couldnt you? Like not as blunt as the bodykit, just to add class?

well..everyone else did TOO MUCH, which made Rigga's car the obvious choice. it has to look good...if you spend alot of time making a car, but it turns out sh*tty, and somone else does the same car in less time, and less work, but the car looks better...then you're obviously going to like the better-looking car...oblivious of the hard work put in on the other car.

well...D's winning anyway. :)

Here I am, back from my road trip. To tell you the true, I don´t know what you look on each car. Did you take about 60 seconds to look each car completelly? Or just a couple of seconds and vote for the best looking car (to your eyes). Did the backround help you to decide? Did you judge the work and the small details too? Or just the look? In this case, maybe some of you don´t like the Ferrari Enzo (because of the looks) but the car is an state of the art piece of styling and aerodinamic if you look all the small details on the body. I´ll like to know how you look each car. I know this is subjective, but...
Back to the competition, to me the best looking and the best work on the car is my :D. To me small details is everything (it has a lot of them). I don´t like to judge other people´s work because they put all the effort to make the best looking car they can. But same wheel front and back... :?
Besides that I like D lower body kit and D and macdaddy side vinyls
See you on the next competition...............................

macdaddy, I dont really like that mod you did... My vote goes to rigga, he says he uses CorelDraw. Thats pretty hard for me to use man. Even to stretch the stuff. I have the program, and it's hard at first, couldn't understand anything... Try using it yourself. Your chops would come out worse than rigga's. So don't say his sucks, it rulez.

^ it shouldnt be so much about the effort he put in, it should be more about the final product. Which was ok, jsut not to my taste

Oh, and Rigga, I hope you don't take this personally.

I don't take it personally macdaddy, you can say what you think about my pic, it helps me to improve, but you shouldn't complain about my bodyparts while all you did was change the colors, lower it and change the rims

That was also constructive, so not against you, I like the way it looks, and try to have more smooth curves, especially around the wheels where the yellow becomes purple.

BTW, I think we all see D won

yeah, he pwned us.

You are right, my blending on the yellow/purple was a tad shonky (understatement) but to be fair, we probably only notice it because of the contrats in colours.
