A new age has begun!!

M. Schumacher --> Past
Fernando Alonso --> Present
M.Webber --> Near Future !

I actually went to the first 2005 GP (In Melbourne). The entire weekend was amazing, and everyone in the crowd ( Mostly Everyone) was cheering for Mark Webber, in the Williams. Anyway, I reckon It will soon be Marks turn to WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP! Maybe the next, or the one after. :D dunno

Webber is a talented young driver. it's a shame he didn't get a better team in the past. i was kinda glad to see him in Williams.

Even Though Ferrari didn't win . . . it was still an awesome race!

I'm so glad that Alonso and Montoya finally got what they deserve. A DNF! They are both the biggest, cheating wankers I have ever seen in F1.

Anyway it seems that Bridgestone is getting back on top of their problems, and you can expect the reds to do well at Indionapolis. :D

Don't you watch the races?

In Monaco, Alonso cheated TWICE when Webber was trying to pass him.
And in the last race, Montoya was given a Black Flag because he exited the pit lane when there was a red light. He then had the nerve to pass Coultard under the Saftey car.

They both deserve to be excluded for the rest of the year IMO.

Did you watch the Monaco race?

If intentionally cutting corners isn't cheating then I don't know what is :roll:

Anyone who cheats, doesn't deserve to race. Simple as that.

For this season it's already over for ferrari but just wait until they have removed all the glitches from the new car, then they will be driving at the top once again. Hope it happens this season just to anoy the shiznit out off renault :twisted:

you know F1 is pretty cool. But it's the same as soccer.
If you look at the dutch team you see al sorts of players and big names but they don't have to prove themselves any more so you don't see that much action.
looking at the formule 1 is almost the same. the drivers don't really have to prove themselves any more. that's why I like the GP2 better then the F1

The weirdest race ever

Post by ^Sparco^ »

Indianapolis: The weirdest race ever

In today's race, only 6 cars have raced: The Ferrari, Minardi and Jordan team.
Why?

Due to lack of compromise by FIA body and bad batch of tires by Michelin.

All Bridgestone equipped cars are out competing. This could've been stopped and turned into a full fledge race should they (FIA) have placed a chicane in corner 13.

Fans even have throwed stuff on the track, making it dangerous for the competitors who race at 200MPH.

Rubens Barichello almost crashed because of a plastic water bottle which was thrown from the stands...

yes, what the f0ok happened today?! why didnt mr ecclestone (the damn fag of a midget) just build the chicane so it could have been a fair race? anyway, the fezza's wont have any other victories, they better not do anyway :roll:

Wow! A very odd race indeed :shock: I felt sorry for the fans, having spent all of their hard earned cash, on a grid with 14 cars less then expected. Alot of the fans left during the race, in anger. :(

because this would have been against the bridgestone teams, which did all their job regularly, and a chicane in the turn 13 would have represented a clear obstacle to their work.
all the trouble has been caused by the Michelin, and it's not right to penalize other teams because michelin tyres weren't safe today...

9 of 10 teams racing wanted the chicane, even two teams that had Bridgestones. The FIA wanted a Ferarri win, pure and simple.

No, the FIA had nothing to do with it.

Building a chicane would have been stupid and dangerous, and they did not have enough time to do it properly.

It was purely Michelins fault, because they did not do their research, like Bridgestone did. If they didn't have their heads stuck up their @rseholes then they would have realised that different tyres were required.

Ferrari and Bridgestone had every right to stand up for themselves, because they were in the clear.

It's very dissapointing what happened, but it was Michelins fault and they cannot pin the blame on someone else.

Totally agree with bogan

That's why all the new FIA rules from 2 years ago till today are made to limit Ferrari possibilities in the championships... :roll:

Why do you think Ferrari is not leading this championship? Has Alonso became a superman in two years? Does Schumacher suck suddenly? NO.

Don't get me wrong, Alonso owns 8) But Schumi is a more experienced driver.

IMO, yesterday's "race" was one the most boring in history. There were some exciting moments when the cars left the pits and almost drove into eachother (Schumi & Rubinio).
