It's not a Porsche 911, it's just made to look like one... :)

Yep the engine is from Windsor (well i think it is, but it's definitely the same design). They still use the same engine in the V8 Supercar championship here in Aus.

If you look good, you'll see it an late model Opel Astra. The Astra before the new one right now.

I took me some time, but its the side vieuw from front door to rear that's giving it away.

You have to look twice or even more times, but it is an Astra.

Hmm, I overlooked that message. Never knew the Safrane and Vectra looked alike in those parts (I just typed in Safrane in Google and this car came up right away). So I guess you're right!

That gold/whatever color car 2 posts above is a Ford Escort. Not an Open w/e. Nitice how the grille on the tuned car is rounder.

Oh ok, i thought you meant a different type of astra. Here in Aus, the astras must be a different shape from all other astras. bTW, Isn't THAT Astra, the 2nd model down, from the current new astra?
Anyway here is a picture of the Astra i thought you mennt  :

nope all astra's are the same car exept for a dif grill badges and sometimes difirent car types

the I know the previous astra was build as a Coupe, liftback(hatchback mix) sedan and Stationwagon, and the same goes for the new astra (don't know if they build a coupe yet... not really into Opel's (vauxhall or Holden what ever suits you)

No, the Saturn Aura is the Opel Vectra. I think the Chevy Cobalt might be the same platform as the Astra though.

All this stuff is confusion to my brains. Why didn't they give the same names for cars all over the world it's much easier that way. Here we have a Opel Astra somewhere else it's a vaughall Astra. It would be much easier to call to opel or vaughall and not both
