Custom vinyl not showing on opponents screen

Is it true that a custom vinyl, I made can't be seen on my opponents screen in online play??

true.

BUT, If he has the same vinyl replaced, with the same vinyl you replaced it with, he will see your custom vinyl. But this chance is like 1 on a million.

so, I'd say: True.

it does suck but, see it this way, if everybody would use their own vinyl (and decal) and you could see it, you would have to download them even before you race.... can't be done...
and PS2 can't download...
