i think that photoshop should be denied in showroom/sr challenges...only paint shall be allowed...

i think thats too much to ask! its ok to used photoshop for backgrounds and presentations but using it on the car itself is a no, no....

before the talk was all about edited rims but now i see a lot of people doing "magical" things on their carbon fiber parts...

It would be fine with me if all editing wasnt aloud. I think it would make people vote more for the cars. I think photoshoping is an unfair advantage and should be monitored better.

well, hello everyone, im a recent user, and I suck at editing ( or least dont want to waste time doing fancy editing ). The problem I stand up here for, is that I think ( no disrespect to any user, like enzo.ph , angelsin ) people just get more votes by having nice backgrounds and presentantion. Honestly i think that is unfair, but im not judging anyone so, give me ( us ) your personal opinion.

Wouldn't the word 'official' only apply when the site staff had sanctioned it? Hmm, well anyway that's exactly what I've done, so now it really is official! And stickied..

People - please use this topic to report any 'photoshopped' cars in the showroom. Note that this does NOT extend to backgrounds, text and whetever, which are perfectly fine and fair game for editing.

The showroom rules specifically disallow the car itself to be edited with Photoshop filters, new parts added etc. If you find such a car, post a link in reply to this topic and the staff will check it out.

Please also bear in mind the sheer volume of cars we recieve every day. Whilst we do our best to filter out the edits before submitting them to the showroom, sometimes cars still slip through. Don't be dissing the very people who are working hard to bring you this great site - we're doing our best.

I only said that because an admin had changed the name of the topic. It was originally called "how come my car didnt get excepted but this one did," or something like that. Im glad you stickied this.
