Screen turns black when using Nitro

My screen gets black and all you can see are street lights when ever I use Nitro. Whats happening here?

System specs:

1.3 Ghz P4 XP 20g hd (5g free) Geforce 4 4400 ti 512mb RDRAM.

Whats a good display setting for this system?

It's a problem with the 1.3 patch, EA screwed up. Update the game or turn off light glow.

I still aint found an answer to this motion blur problem. I had to turn motion blur off. Any answers?

Motion blur works if I turn off light glow but I like that feature on.

I had the same problem bud i only used motion blur when i drag. I then tried motion blur on circuit and didn't had that problem you guys are talking about and everthing was on and on highest. I only had it with drag races. My system specs are P4 3.06Ghz, 1024Mb RAM, Radeon 9600 128Mb, 200G harddisk with 30g of free space.

I kinda found a solution. I just turned off my tail light trails, who needs them anyway.

its the same for patches in every game. they fix 1 glitch and 10 more appear. they just need to write the glitches down and remember to fix them all!

I can't put the crowd or motion blur on my computer, I don't know why. Can someone help?
System specs are: 256mb RAM, 80gb hard driive with 30gb free, GeForce 4 128mb.

Only GF4 MX doesn't support it. It works normally on all GF4 4x00Ti.

so i guess if you don't have the option of turning off the light glow, u will still have the problem or on contrary, you shouldn't? I am just curious.
