[106 faster than skyline]
NFS Most Wanted
I want:
• Beautiful, amazing, hot, stunning scenarios like in Hot Pursuit 2

• Good police phrases like in Hot Pursuit 1 (at least in Spanish they were hilarious)
- Where do you think you go that fast?
- So, it seems you don't get it, huh? STOP RUNNING!!
- OK, this is the last warning: Don't do it again!
- Go out from your vehicle slowly and silently!
• Separate "Police campaign" and "Criminal campaign"
- Police: Become the best police by catching all the Mafia criminals that are stoling all the luxury cars.
- Criminal: Become the best driver of the Mafia world and earn a lot of money
• Dinamyc storyline and video scenes here and there, like in nfsu1.
• Loads of police cars at a time. Over 6. Extreme difficulty (ability to turn it easier in the options, for newbies
)
• A good AI is essential in a HP related game. More than the realism IMO
Flying police cars are funny and exciting
Anyway a semi-realistic car handling is always important.
• Details like horn, white rear lights, convertable Up/down option when available (i.e. Mazda MX5) and such things make the game nicer.
• Multiple secondary roads, nfshp2 stlye (but more complex) for exciting pursuits. Intelligent officers.
• New police "methods" apart from helicopters and "bands of nails" :
- Officers throwing oil (and other things) over the road so that racers slide and crash.
- Officers disturbing your vision with powerful rays of light (you see everything white and it is difficult to control your car)
- etc.
• Ability to style up your cars with custom colors, rims, number plate editing and little things like that. No body kits or vinyls, logically.
• Rain, snow, sun. I remember the tropical track in nfshp2, I really felt the hot weather there (volcano part).
Wind effects. (I havent noticed that "awesome" wind effect in nfsu2 that EA talked about...
)
• Brooke Burke (and whoever girls) are not necessary in this game
I think thats all for the moment

Yeah, GTA is a great influence
About hot scenarios, take a look at the sky in TrackMania Sunrise...

I think EA should bring back some stuff from TNFS (yeah, the game from 1996). Real life videos with the cars we were driving... They weren't long, but imo better than the cartoon pictures in NFSU2...
Good dialogue is also good. I don't want it to be this "tough" type from NFSU, I want more humor. I wanna laugh
About details... Left and right indicators (don't know the English word
), different types of number plates (World Racing has authentic number plates from several American states, Canada and Germany), several types of roads (dry snow, wet snow, dry tarmac, wet tarmac, gravel) all providing different handling.
I could go on for hours...
^Sparco^: These are just some parts of the stuff I was talking about for the future NFS

I agree with almost everything ^Sparco^ said, except one thing:
Some people DO want hot chickettes in the game (but preferably some more European ladies, as I'm sick to death of American models. I was nice to see Kelly Brooke in NFSU2 - she just needed a bigger part (oo-er), as I think I may have said before). There is nothing wrong with a bit of totty to liven things up a bit IMHO.

Hopefully NOT!!!!! I just want an action-packed Hot Pursuit game with exotics and it should be fully modable!NFSBLUECIVIC wrote:so, we can tune cars in most wanted right? so if thats true, will we be able to custimize our own ferraris and lamborginis as well as civics and supras? like bumpers spoilers and paint right?
I wanted to check the announcement date for Hot Pursuit 2 to see if the same pattern exists but I found something that I never knew. The game was announced for PS2 on Oct. 25, 2001 but it came out almost one year later, on Oct. 1 2002. But the PC, Xbox and Gamecube versions were announced on April 25, 2002, so I am 100% sure we will get an annoucement on MW middle-to-end of this April.
