Well, there's not much news out on the other gangs, but I'll be surprised if skinhead groups isn't included...

Just when I was about to go to bed, I found some more news on the Norwegian GTA Forum. GameSpot will go through the different parts of the game during the next months, and the first part is the food system.

Here is the info, and here are 9 new screenshots.

Enjoy :)

Hmmz... Seems like I'm the only one bringing out the SA news in here... Well, I've found more :D

gta-action (who else?) has found a preview from PSM2 Uk, and this was picked up from what I think could be one of the biggest San Andreas sites, GTASanAn.com (a site I will visit quite often from now on). On a forum in the same network, there are 4 scanned pages, in English, about GTA:SA. :D

So grab a coke and something to eat, here are the scans, enjoy the reading. I know I will... :D

Edit: It didn't say anything new, but it was good to get it in a language I understand :P

Stop triple posting, mate!!!

Thanks for the info. I really like the food-system idea. Every reallistic thing is good in this kind of games. I read something about 'speed'... can you take drugs?????
Can you buy different clothes, for example?

If you see the dates, you see that there are a couple of days between the two last... I thought that since so much time had passed, it wouldn't hurt anyone if I posted a new post... Guess I was wrong... :P But ok, I won't do it again :)

Drugs aren't new in GTA... Remember the adrenalin pills? :)
Dani350z wrote:Can you buy different clothes, for example?
Yeah, I think so. Since you can choose between a number of hair styles, I would think so. You could do the same in VC, and I doubt that R* has left out anything like that...

Yeah, at gtagaming.com there was an article or a link to an article where they mentioned that SA will have several shops with different styles.

And you can decide which colours your gang is going to wear. But this hasn't been confirmed by R* yet.

More news!!

Post by Morty »

The previews are coming... As I mentioned in my last post, GTASanAn.com is I place I'm gonna visit more often (I'm even at the forum every day now). And today, they got loads of stuff. It's so much, I don't actually know how much to write. So I'm gonna post a few links:
This is the main news page, which is a good place to start. :)
This is their previews section, which has got 15 different previews right now (more to come, it's still 3 months until the release). I haven't even read all of them yet...

GMR has got an article about GTA:SA, and here are some new info:
- Names of some small towns in SA: Shady Creeks, Flint County, Whetstone, Fern Ridge and Red County.
- Each of the three big cities has got their own airport with Dodo's.
- You can pick up hitchhikers (and probably give them a ride they'll never forget).
- A tow truck that will tow cars.
- You can choose your own camera angle.
- There is a wide array of outfits in the shops (which answers Dani350z' question).
This is where I found it. :)

Here you find 13 scans from the Australian GamesTM (cover + 12 pages) (great job by FiShMaStEr with the scans). I just read it, and I definitely think it was worth it. We get a good look at the countryside and they talk about the graphics. Just read it... :D

There is one thing that is bothering me tho... It's all for PS2 so far. I wonder if the PC version is going to be any different, and how powerful my computer needs to be, so i can play it properly... Guess we won't know until next year, but I got a strong feeling that my computer needs a serious upgrade...

Ok, seems like without me, this thread dies... I wasn't going to post anything more, because I thought people could either drop by the different sites on their own or didn't care, but today I found some pretty big news (on GTASanAn), and I just had to mention it. As we all know, NFSU2 is going GTA with free roaming. Well, Rockstar has decided to go NFSU as well. They've added nitrous (as an option), and it gives you the well known blur effect.

The news comes from the German Play The Playstation, and also includes this:
- 150 core missions
- Golden Gate bridge is called Gant bridge
- San Fierro has got a hippie festival called "Hushbury & Garcia Joint Festival"
- You can choose between different dialogues when talking to people
- Chinatown is in San Fierro

I can't wait for this game to be released...

No problem, I used to do that when I was a new user but I was warned and now I have a "spamming ticket"
Yeah I remember those adrenaline pills. I like the idea of different dialogues when talk with ppl, there is always a 'funny option' between all the sentences to choose :D

Kekum: As long as he's not a mod, I'm not too worried.... :P

Dani: Yeah, R* has already said that the humor from previous games will be in SA too, the R* crew has been fighting to make the funniest parts of the game, so we can probably look forward to a lot of fun :)

popmihai: Here are all screenshots released so far (I think). PC version will come, but don't expect it before May 2005... I hope they will release it sooner than that, but I'm prepared for a long wait...

Yeah, that kinda surprised me... I thought R* had improved that too... But people say "don't fix what's not broken", and I guess we can live with that :)

I wonder how that graffiti thing will work... Can we spray what we want, or are there premade graffities to choose from...?

Release date for PC, yeah, on 15th of may 2005 and here is a quote:
The Internet Movie Database is reporting that San Andreas will have a PC version date of May 15, 2005. The IMDB has been known to be a reliable site, but keep some doubt until this information comes directly from a Rockstar press release. Also note that their PS2 version is still listed as October 19th. We send thanks to Jasonlives for this piece of news.

same as vicecity, very close to the exams date  , but ill get it whatever happens :P

thanks to GtaGaming
