Probably more that what your wanting to spend but it comes with games already, there is another version of the exact same card that don't have any games just the card itself; it runs about $175 U.S. dollars. I can get you a different link that shows all the different versions of this card, that is if you want me to. BTW, i've heard, but don't know how true it is, that XFX is the way to go.

RE: Sparco
I've looked on the web and i can't find any reviews like your talking about. If you could provide me with a couple of links so i can make a decision on whether or not to buy it. 98% of everthing thing that i've read has all been good about it. The only thing bad that i hear is that it has a loud fan sometimes. Is this what you were referring to by problems?
The balence of the market will always be changing, so ATI might have the edge this month but you can bet that nVidia will have something out the next month to counter it. SLI gives nVidia an extra tool to take advantage of, will nVidia &/or game coders take advatnage of it is another matter. Does the existence of one card remove the need for SLI? no, just the balence of things has changed... again.

I don't know about you guys, but my good old Radeon 9000pro (128Mb, Gigabyte II) is serving me very good for a year and a half now... It ran all games I tried (most of them (HL2, Doom3 etc.) were slideshows tho), and it is doing its job perfectly. And still I can call myself a hardcore gamer
even with that video card...

lmao.. well you got it worse than me, I got a 9500 128 mb... it runs HL2 and Doom 3 (not slideshow, lol) and i get about 35 FPS on Battlefield Vietnam with close to max detail on the largest map with about 32 Players... so im still good...Dragster wrote:I don't know about you guys, but my good old Radeon 9000pro (128Mb, Gigabyte II) is serving me very good for a year and a half now...
