BTW, I heard, that this engine (1.0) is:
- very good for 1st generation Yaris
- quite good for Yaris Verso
- very bad for 2nd generation Yaris (maybe it's too heavy, I don't know)

Always wanted to ask, how is the dish coming out so much, I've seen japanese cars which their dishes came out even more. How is that made? Lower size tire on a bigger size rim? Like 17" tire on a 18" rim?steelsnake00 wrote:Loving the dish on the wheels. How far are you stretching the tyres?

It does take a while to get up to speed, but it can go pretty fast, but with that comes a lot of noiseFrogsterPL wrote:Maybe, but I was driving in it ~145 KPH and there was almost none acceleration(on highway of course)

Thanks man.steelsnake00 wrote: Loving the dish on the wheels. How far are you stretching the tyres? I'm contemplating a set of HRE 540R'sfor the A4 in 18" with a nice big stretch.

In Poland there are very few decent highways, and our Toyota is usually being used in the city, so we don't really need more powerful engineTheStig wrote: I have a '04 Yaris 1.3 myself wich I opted over the 1.0 because it's quieter and uses less fuel on the highway, it does use abit more in the city but it's still has a very decent milage.

Sorry mate, missed your post. The dish on my wheels looks so pronounced because theyre 2" wider than most alloy wheels, and they have a 0 offset.Danyutz wrote:Always wanted to ask, how is the dish coming out so much, I've seen japanese cars which their dishes came out even more. I've seen 195's done on a 9. It looked idiotic.boganbusman wrote:195 on an 8 inch rim is kinda pushing itWouldn't say it's dangerous, but I wouldn't do it myself.

Lol, Americans. Front wheel drive V8? Enough wheelspin?Striker94 wrote:And WTF? V8 FWD? That's no-go...

Can anyone say nose-heavy, understeery mess in the corners?boganbusman wrote:FWD V8?![]()

My other half suggested I get one as a fast car when I've got some cash but I really don't see the appeal. It looks like a Renault Laguna with added black plastic parts, it's got less power than the Evo IX (well, the homoligations of it) and I don't think it would feel that fast after a 385bhp, R/R 911. Then again very little does!Striker94 wrote:Anyway, I was just wondering if anybody here drives an Mitsubishi Evo X?
I really could care less, as I don't race it. It's just my weekend boulevarde cruiser. And oh yeah, it was designed by Pininfarina.baumaxx1 wrote:Lol, Americans. Front wheel drive V8? Enough wheelspin?Striker94 wrote:And WTF? V8 FWD? That's no-go...

Nice, the Daytona would be my other pick over the Speed Triple.steelsnake00 wrote:In the meantime I'm riding a Triumph Daytona 675 Triple which I've borrowed off a mate. In yellow and black, no less. I'll pop some pics of it up.

The problem is they're FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS for no real discernable reason. The HP2 Sport uses as much carbon fibre, a more expensive brake and suspention setup and a more complex (if less powerful engine) and retails for 1/3 of the price of the Desmodeici.Striker94 wrote:Ducati Desmocedici RR

If you want a Ducati, save your AU$100,000 and buy a 1098/S/R. IMO better looking, MUCH better value, and the Desmo doesn't actually have that much over the 1098 in terms of power.Striker94 wrote:nice...
