I really hope EA will release the demo at latest this weekend. I really want to play the game for a good while and make a good judgment on whether it's worth buying.

I'm really starting to get annoyed at this phrase. Is it so hard to give a specific release date or at least inform us the progress? I mean how you feel not knowing when MW will come out. What if there wouldn't be any date?

Well I can see that the only difference would be that the Black Edition would require a DVD player.

Well that's why I'm confused...is the MW for pre-order at Futureshop the normal version or the BE? There's no mention of needing a DVD drive for the extra DVD.

Intro is the actual Intro movie from MW with the same warning to drive safely and if you feel the need for speed, play MW, blah, blah

Yeah, there's something messed up with the address.
Just link to http://www.nfs-planet.de because they also updated with the link to that site. The videos should be checked out, it shows how you start the game and how your nice car gets jacked and you have to start from the beginning.

Am I the only one (probably not) that noticed that you start the race in 1st gear, instead of the famous "ngear", which explains the stupid burnouts. Which does also mean that it doesn't matter how much you rev, you'll still always get the same start.. Am I right?

I also noticed that the cops describes your car by the basepaint only, which means you can have a car with white basepaint, covered in red vinyls, and the cops will describe it as a white car

It does matter how much your rev, to be precies it matters when! you start to rev.
in the PS2 demo if you rev at the 1 second countdown you get the best launch, cause if you start revving at the beginning your will do a way to big burnout and you almost wont move. and if you start reving at 1 second before start you rev up at around 5 rpm (depending on the car ofcourse) and you get the least wheelspin and you stay ahead of the pack.

The PS2 is more then able to cop the same amount of detail (not EXACTLY but near it) so why even bother having to wait a whole nother year

So lets see how this goes:

Well we have the Blue/Silver M3-GTR and then we race him
In the video you do well but the Mia calls telling you ya left a big oil spot or something
You hit something then your car is done
They all come up to you and the Razor tells says "thanks for the ride" and then the other guys say some nasty, ironic things

Then you get smack-talked by Sarge. Cross and then your off to jail.

So this is explains why Razor is at the top with your Car, I'm guessing you will get it back sooner or later. I'm guessing he will have tuned it up by then, and thats why it has that speed "new" sound to it.

Sound logical?

If that was real, and I got in jail because of that stupid-A**, I would kick his stupid @** when I would get out! But I'm guess "Mia" will some how help you to get out since she is a "you know what." But then you will have to end up having a crappy car.

EDIT: And James, if you think about it he didn't steal it, before if you would have seen some footage on G4 its a pink-slip race.

so if you are smart you don't start the game and keep the M3

The song is in the official song list. Yes, it is an odd song for racing. But, then again, I sometimes race to Vivaldi's The Four Seasons :)

I think it makes more sense for this song to be a menu song or some sort of victory song or something.
