Details of Black Edition are up on the EA site:
http://www.eagames.com/nfs/mostwanted/us/index.jsp
EDIT: Sorry, I'm not sure how to direct link to a particular place on that site so just scroll to the bottom or click news.

PC, PS2 and Xbox (NO X360, GC, PSP, etc.)Peter Ferrell wrote:I don't think the Black Edition is realy going to be worth the extra money, just for a couple of new cars... But it is a Camaro... Hmm... Might have to think about this.
Also, sorry if I missed the answer to this, but is the BE available for every system? Or just the PC...

Other than that stupid roof scoop, that car is beautiful. I can't wait to get my hands on that Audi A4 and put some nice black OZ rims on it. Maybe lower it a bit too.
Fishwhiz, if nobody answered that means it is unknown yet. There no reason for people to say "I don't know". It's called spam. I don't know if you remember that the bit with 2 different UG2 versions was clarified before close to its release so just have patience and you will see.
It's getting closer...I can smell the burnt asphalt and the beautiful roar of the BMW M3...

No, don't worry about the renault and fiat, they will be there anyways, this year wont be like the last year where there was american and european versions, this year it will be the normal edition and the black edition, so all the cars in the official car list will be in the game (normal version)Fishwhiz wrote:Fishwhiz wrote:does anyone know if there will be added/removed cars because of foreign versions like the acurarsx, honda civic in american version and the opel corsa and pugot 106 in euro version? i would hate it if the renault clio and fiat punto were removed from american version

Actually, since the picture is for the European version, both those facts are true. The rating system is European and Europe is getting a DVD version, NOT a CD version.Peter Ferrell wrote:Well let's see... I believe the game is rated T (teens)... Also I haven't heard anything about a DVD included in the game...

My bad... But why would there be a difference in ratings? And such a big one too... That commercial is pretty good I'd say... Better than the past 2 commercials for Ug's 1 and 2...2furio wrote:Actually, since the picture is for the European version, both those facts are true. Because Europe has a different rating system.
North American System:
http://www.esrb.org/esrbratings_guide.asp
European System:
http://www.elspa.com/rating/
Plus, Europe is not as strict when it comes to violence and sexual themes. For example, in Canada just because a movie shows a woman's breasts just for a split second it's immediately rated 18+, while in Romania it may be as low as 12+ (depends if the scene is sexual or other).
All this strict nonsense is because of the US.

I saw porn for the first time when i was 10 or 11 and been watching it on a regular basis since i was 12 and i've played violent games since like forever
and i turned out ok, right?
I think the ratings in U.S. are ridiculous.
I think the situation with age ratings for games are even worse in Germany.
The original Carmageddon game was banned there but released later with zombies with green blood instead of normal people with red blood
.
And i've seen some german Counter-Strike movies and the blood is green in them.
