I mean, I dont wanna throw off 50€ in a stupid game... :D

All I want to know is:

- Will it run decently in my system? (P4 Prescott 2.8Ghz, 512Mb Ram, Gforce Fx5200)
- Is the city big? :D
- Is it funny? Story, missions...

Thx!!
1- It should run without having any problems
2- Its F*CKING big
3- Funny ? , not sure, but the missions are awesome( i havent played the game yet but it is said )

Briefly:

The game is just AWESOME and it deserves every € so go ahead and buy it 8)

Well i just bought the game and now had a little glance at it, and so far it looks brilliant. It's helluva lot more RPG oriented - with tones of avatar modifying going on, like getting a haircut, going to the gym, which effects your stamina, sex appeal, respect, etc. And it is a big game.

Though I prefer the look of Vice City, nice, bright and colourful. This is more dark and dingy, well the first city anyway. I think the later cities are supposed to be more bright urban, up beat, glamourous style.

So far it looks brilliant, and i'm looking forward to playing this game over the summer. In fact i might just call in sick tomorrow.

San Andreas is 1990s... isnt it??

Vice City was 1980s... all the shiny and glamourous of a palm city in the 80s..

90s are dark dude :D

All I can say is that there's a lot of useless swearing and that made it really funny for me.

What kind of secrets do you have to look for?
Are there secret packages? Jumps? Rampages?

I couldn't find anything so far.

I know, i think Rockstar did a good job with the dark and dingy cities of the 90s, it wouldn't be right if it was all pretty nice. :D

Well,i finally made it out of Los Santos.Got the first glimpse of Mount Chilliad. It's huge.

You can see the mountain in the background:
Image

Here is a up close shot of the mountain.
It's much bigger than you think. When you start climbing you really see how huge it is.I haven't been to the top yet.I got around half way up:

In the next shot i was exploring the countryside when suddenly this thick fog hit.Reminded me of Silent Hill. It was kind of creepy.
There are a few scary things to be seen deep into the woods, late at night.I won't spoil anything.

The first time i encountered it i jumped.

I will give away one thing.Don't go wandering in Back O' Beyond late at night.Strange things happen, they mess with your head.

The first signs of trouble are a thick fog, then it only gets worse. You should get away while you can.

Made you curious?Good. :D

I guess its the default one, may be you just see it brighter because you have a 64mb GFX card.

I have hired the game out a couple of times (PS2), and I am willing to buy it, when it comes out on Platinum. Awesome game!...Great fun searching for my dream cars (*"cough... Banshee!"), then ricing them up. 8)
Only thing is...I am still stuck in the first city, because I become totally distracted by everything that the game offers.

"Yay! Lets form a 20-car pile-up on the freeway!" :P
