Post by RVD »

According to everything I've seen as well, yes. I believe there was an official announcement about it awhile ago. Welcome to games by EA. It seems to be their thing to make things obsolete, what with their multiple game expansion packs and sequels.

yeah, me xayne and rforshizo modified the necessary files (did it all), and routed it through a vpn, we raised such an uproar they put the nfsu2 server back up (just to pacify us), anybody notice the absents of a lan feature in carbon... they left if out deliberately, gee i wonder why? lol we pissed EA off so much with that whole thing its a wonder they didnt ban our accounts (they did ban shizo's old one but for a different reason) i personaly like pissing them off because they weewee us off so much)

I think EA does this to get more people to play. They said they were going to shutdown U1's servers, and the did fo ra month but then brought them back online. Good thing since my Most Wanted is broken and I don't have an yother games for PC! :P -- Go Undergrounds!

Now listen, there is NO RULE against posting in a disused thread, SO LONG AS THE POST IS RELEVANT AND USEFUL. I think we can all agree that EastTunerz has added value with his post, regardless of the time difference between his thread and the one before it.

BrontoX, Prince and others, while I have no problem with the redirecting of users to other threads where they can find the information they're after and helpful things such as that, I'll thank you to stop acting like staff. You have no place dictating rules to others, especially when the rules you are dictating DO NOT ACTUALLY EXIST. The practice will stop, please.

EastTunerz, thankyou for the information. I'm sure people will find it useful.
