i've bought the PC version for NFS Carbon and the logitec formula vibration feedback wheel, but controlling the car in the game using the wheel is completely unplayable and there is a big delay in input.
i tried to change the wheel sensitivity and dead zone in the logitec software, but its still unplayable.
The problem is that this is the first time i try a wheel, so please tell me if this problem is from the wheel or the game, and if there is any solution please coz i bought the wheel just to play this game and now i can't. Thanx
NFS Cabon and wheel, PLEASE HELP.
Re: NFS Cabon and wheel, PLEASE HELP.
It could be that the wheel is inexpensive and just not very playable. Never tried that model myself. But I do have a pretty cheap wheel myself, and got used to it.The Master wrote:i've bought the PC version for NFS Carbon and the logitec formula vibration feedback wheel, but controlling the car in the game using the wheel is completely unplayable and there is a big delay in input.

You mentioned that this is the first time you used a steering wheel, so it's likely just a matter of taking the time to get used to it. Also, try to go into first person mode, or at least the view from atop the front bonnet. Third person view, where you see the entire car, doesn't generally work too well with a steering wheel controller. Adjusting to the wheel is far easier when you change the camera view and go to first person.

Actually some of them are. While the MOMO model is a decent wheel, they also make some on the low end like the Wingman Formula GP. $30 US does not buy a very good wheel, which is what some models, such as the Wingman Forumla GP and one of the GameCube models cost. Even the $100 MOMO model suffers from quality issues, though it's more about durability. I've heard many people complain that after a year of use, the pedals on the MOMO model start to give out.ahmad0410 wrote:Logitechs ain't a cheap product dude.
A decent player can make do with a cheaper wheel, but those controllers arent' anywhere near as good as the models that run $150 US and up.
Like I said, I wasn't familiar with the exact Logitech wheel the guy said he bought, but believe me, there are cheap and flimsy Logitech steering wheel controllers out there.
