Videos as desktop backgrounds? Kinda distracting, don't you think?

Knew the rest of this already. I've been keeping tabs on Vista's development and Beta tested RC2. But I don't see myself upgrading to Vista for the next few years. At least not until they come out with 16-core processors.

You can already do this if you have VLC media player running. :)

Currently posting this from Opera on Vista (no aero though since it's over remote desktop) and I must say that I'm too fond of it. The new gui is well, too much of everything tbh.
The new start menu sucks completely. I mean a search field for start menu? It takes way too long to find anything in it.
Not to mention it takes 560MB of ram when no apps are running.

560mb of ram doesn't seem too bad, just upgraded to 4gb. Anyways, who would want a video background, sure it would be cool for a few days but then it would get annoying fast.
