No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
The demo for Need for Speed Undercover will not be released at all. It was confirmed by EA's producer John Doyle.
The reason is that the dev team is putting all efforts into the game.
Will the lack of a demo keep you away from getting Need for Speed Undercover? Discuss in the comments.

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
No it wouldn't. Why don't they put just one-two races in demo like in PS?TRANSFORMER wrote:"I just have to say..."I WILL STANDBY NEED FOR SPEED & NFSUNLIMITED!"

Would it kill you to make your posts legible? I had to read that three or four times before I could make sense of it.TRANSFORMER wrote:"Because of the Thrills Ingame... Car Moves... could be shown... I'm sure You're going 2 get NFS UC'!"

Haha, totally agree. Either way, quite a shocker. But I think it says something about EA's new development program. Focus all resources on a successful game; don't worry about demos; don't worry about releasing gameplay videos. Another reason for the lack of a demo could be due to a lack of funds. Undercover looks to be a rather expensive project due to the hollywood actors etc., so it's entirely possible they want to save some money by not releasing a demo.Carcrazy wrote:Four letters... woah. The EA-Team, & I'm sure, want NFS Undercover 2 make as thrilling & impressive as possible & that's the R"EA"son!"

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
im kinda glad theyre not releaseing the demo, most of the resent demos comming from need for speed dont resemble the final product especially in terms of gameplay (most noticble were carbon and prostreet), i dont mind a demo thats unfinished but they seem to give us an E3 build of the game. i know some people download a demo to decide whether to buy the game or not, but with what theyve given us in the past are demos that relate hardly any information to the final product (thats my opinion anyways).
Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
EA is playing it smart!! that will keep people waiting and i'm sooooooooooooo excited!! a demo can let us know what is NFS Undercover but it is so much better that we have to wait for the game!! i have no prob with it !! i have seen great cars, videos, storyline and creativity, that's enough for me!! i can wait another 2 months coz need for speed undercover is surely worth the waiting!!
What Comes Around, Goes Around ...
Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
EA is focusing more on quality then sales? What the hell happened? Did someone assassinate the co-workers pets or something and they finally got the message?
Now if only all EA games were given this treatment *cough* Sims *cough*

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
i think that there is no demo because through the demo u can see actually almost 90% of the final game, and maybe most
people wouldn't by the full release if they didn't like the demo!
i don't really actually care,i'll buy the original game instantly

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
Hmmm, another very plausible reason behind not having a demo. This actually sounds more reasonable, given EA's not-so-generous past. This way people will buy the game because they have no preconceived notions from the demo, and EA may make more money than in the past. (At least, that's what the thought behind this reasoning would be)FrankieGthang wrote:i think that there is no demo because through the demo u can see actually almost 90% of the final game, and maybe most people wouldn't by the full release if they didn't like the demo!

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
wow. i think the suspense will be so great that i might actually buy it. i dont kno. ill just have to see more about the game when it gets closer to the release
Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
Thats what they want you to do. Buy they're shiznit game. They're not realeasing a demo because they know it won't work well withthe fans and when the fans play the demo they won't like it. It kinda forces them to buy it, more or less.mostwantedforlife wrote:wow. i think the suspense will be so great that i might actually buy it. i dont kno. ill just have to see more about the game when it gets closer to the release
But EA can say goodbye to my $100AU. Im downloading this game.

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
It's very simple: you don't play the demo version = you don't know that game is a shiznit. They just want to earn money. But we can be wrong about it. I hope so.

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
It's a pity since a demo is always a great thing, but it ain't a big problem 4me now it won't come...
I watch the gameplay movies and reviews of the game aswell, and those mostly give an good view what the game is
I just hope that EA isn't doing this because it is buggy or not finished yet....I really do

I think they are doing this so more people by the game just to try it out so EA gets more money...

Re: No Need for Speed Undercover Demo
why its such a big deal buying an original game,if u are a fan of it,especially nfs?!!!
i have just bought an original crysis warhead game in my country for about 18 euros,so i guess undercover
wouldn't be more expensive than that!
