Vegemite

I live in the US, and I stumbled upon a Wikipedia article about Vegemite one day and thought it sounded interesting. I've never had it, but everyone I've heard from in person who has had it says it is gross. So, what's your opinion on Vegemite?

(Vegemite is roughly the same thing as Marmite)

It's nice on toast, although I don't eat it very often. People who say it's gross usually put way too much on their bread. All you need is a light smear with some butter as well.
