Shift 2: Unleashed, does not support the logitech rumblepad 2 or dual action game pads, what you need to get them working is...

Download : http://xinput.googlecode.com/files/xbox ... .v.3.0.rar

Extract the files :

xbox360cemu.ini
xinput1_3.dll
xinput9_1_0.dll

and copy them into folder :

\Program Files\Electronic Arts\SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED\

This wont give you the usual xbox 360 keys onscreen, but it will give you a chance to use the controller to play the game.

Unsure what you are refering to when you say "does not support", I have a rumblepad2 and it works perfectly fine.
No idea about the actual rumble function, since I don't use it..
But button wise etc, it works perfect o.O
Just set it as custom gamepad and set up all the buttons -> done.

Though I have actually used this tool for games that really only support the lamebox360 controller (no detection of any other pads), and it does work really nice that way

you can setup rumblepad2 yes..

but steering is not correct. you got the maximum steering angle and response is not correct.

(this problem got fixst with this xbox controller emu.)
