wowowoww! Have you seen the screenshots of NFS_U2?? You can see them at this site.

I am happy to see that the dirty and boring tunnel on NFS_U1 has been replaced for 3 or 4 wonderful garages (different garages to: painting, special performance, motor upgrades...)

I am so excited since have seen the scissor doors on 350z, my favorite car. Can't wait for could put it myself!

I hope the car list would be available soon. It would be great if it was included Seat Leon, or even Reanult Megane.

could anyone enlighten me on whether scissor doors would be possible in real life on ANY car? I mean .. some cars aren't made for scissor doors, how would a lancer or an imprezza look with scissor door? lol ... so is it normal and possible to mod your cardoors into scissor doors on the underground scene?
I noticed the subwoofers and stereo system in general in the back of the cars .... though I find this incredibly amusing that EA actually implemented this, I also find it lame and timewasting, I'd have loved them to spend the time they spent on making those last lame upgrades, on a damage model!!!

Im agree with you, I dont know in what way modify the game that kind of upgrades... maybe the music sounds poorly at first in game, and sounds much better when you upgrade sound system...

But after all, it is a wonderful thing in order to make screenshots, with more reallistic images of a car. And look at top of image: VISUAL upgrades.

Making a damage system for a NFS underground is not easy: think about all possibilities of damage, there are too many different pieces (spoilers, etc)

There are companys that will make scissor doors for any car. Its a very expensive job as the doors need strengthening, as do the mounts on the door frame. Theyre also very heavy.

On the topic of "scissor doors"...they are very popular in the import tuning community; cars of all types have them installed from Toyota Celicas and Nissan 350zs to Hondas. That may be why EA has decided to place them in NFSU2...

yeah, I love scissors on 350z, look my avatar :) I hope admins dont get angry with me :roll:

I think scissor doors, like other custom parts, match better in a specific kind of cars. In my opinion, scissor doors matchs perfect with coupes like 350z, Audi TT and probably 206. "Curve" cars.

Vertical Doors They do fit in most of the Cars....I have seen an M3 with Vertical Doors and it was Awsome Plus for the whole Banjo of 350Z lovers here it is..... :lol:

NFS:UG 2 WiLL Be The Best Game for 2004...Leaving the GT4 behind it!!!

Im a 350z lover, but your 350z image sucks.. :) I dont like it. However, I like these oriental girls :P
Leaving scissors topic, i ask all you a question: are you agree about NFS_U2 includes different steering wheels? It is not confirmed, but in garage screenshot it seems to be shown a steering wheel.
Maybe it will be a real sight of interior camera while driving a race...

am i the only one that sees this but in the NFU2 picture, how do you get in the car with those scissor doors. it looks like you have to be at least 2 feet tall to get inside!

Steering wheel, you mean the round shaped thing, right of the scissor doors, i think those are rims of somekind.

im really not fussed about the "radical" scissor doors, but i am happy to see them - hopefully you'll be able to get out of your car.... sitting on the hood actting "fly" would be great! hehe

they got new doors now that open up scissor style and normal way, the 2f2f eclipse had it but they never showed it..i hate scissor doors personally, ugly and waste of money, scissor doors should stay on exotic cars..its just a plain rice item.

yea it does have scissors qyntel, like i said they didnt show it in the movie but a magazine did a review on it and they were talking about the doors.. its pretty common now, alot of escalades have em as well

Since there are sound systems, I would like to see a dB Drag event ... Might be a little difficult to implement into a game, though ...

Of course, a race car shouldn't have a sound system, anyways. All the extra weight from the equipment kind of defeats the purpose of weight reduction ... ;)

Im spanish so looked the dictionary and found "steering wheel"... :?
I mean the thing that you use to turn right and left the car. The thing you take when drive a car. Circle thing :P lol

What do you think about Sound upgrades? The made a very good looking to the back of cars, but i dont know if they will modify the sound quality in game What do u think?

Well, the sound system in that 350Z is all show, no go ... Just there to look good ... For one, the woofers are completely or almost completely sealed off from the cabin. Two, it's probably going to have cancellation problems because the woofers are firing towards each other unless one is wired in phase and the other one is wired out of phase.
