what do you think about DOOM3 ?

i just got DOOM3 and i think it is best 3d shooting game for now, the graphic is fantastic and its scary.... i just love that game... cant syop playng....

I also got the game but too say it's the best 3D shooter ever. Nope i don't think so i bought it because i have every doom that came out. I like this one 2 but, there are better 3D shooters and there will be coming more.

I dont get the game because it is difficult to find it in Spanish, and too expensive to buy it. In addition judging some reviews I have read, it is a next-generation game. Meristation review said that it is RECOMMENDED this PC (or superior) :

3.4ghz @ 800mhz
1.5 Gb RAM

512mb Ati x800

My PC is 2.8ghz @800, 512mb RAM@400 and 128mb FX5200 (:() So I decided not to buy it, it would be frustrating to get poor results with my just bought PC.

The review also said that graphically the game is awesome (I have seen many screenshots and character's faces looks so real) and it is said the better thing in the game is the special effects (lights, sounds). For example, for a simply thing such a wall impact by a bullet, there are 7different sounds...

Athlon XP 1800+
512MB PC-2700 RAM
128MB ATI Radeon 9200

and I have GOOD framerates at 1024x768 with everything on...

Doom3 is flippin.........I dunno. Haven't played Doom 1 or 2 yet. I'm not into shoot-'em-up-bang-bang games anyways.....unless it's hunting.

I am playing the game with these system spec's

P4 3,2Ghz
1Gb ramm
512Mb video.

Not the recommeded spec's but it's close i can put another 512Mb ramm in it i have one free slot only i don't know if my mainboard can handle it. It's a P4 board but a older version. In a few months i am gona buy a new one with the new CPU's that are coming out with speeds almost to the 4Ghz. Then i will put 1,5 or 2 Gb ramm in it.

are you crazy? Without the light everything is black. Anyways you always can use the old method (set 100% bright in the monitor LOL)

I set the brightness just that it is dark but i can see a little then the game is fun to play.

Nice...didnt know alphas were available...last i herd,HL2 vouchers and CZ owners were beta testing Source...but yea,i believe HL2 will be better in gamplay,but not Gfx wise...thats the only good thing about doom 3 now.

Man, that game costs $70.00 CDN at my local Best Buy. Who in their right mind would pay that much for a game? That would be about $50.00 USD. Jeez, if there is a gamr that I really want and costs that much, I aint gonna buy it. There are other ways of getting it.
