Console Wars!!!
Which console do you think will be the best??? Please keep your votes around the portables and consoles. Only pick PC if you hate consoles/portables and never touched one or played one in your life.

You can also write messages to others nearby using a touch-screen pen. It's also able to play GBA games too. And has a built in microphone. Go to IGN for more facts.boganbusman wrote:Nintendo DS will be the best because it has better graphics than a N64 and it has two screens and wireless capabilities. And it can go anywhere.
Other than that I would go for PC (even though mine is really bad).

Graphicaly its the same as a PS2.
It has WiFi wireless so you can play against anyone anywhere.
Im definatly gonna get one.
And I just bought my 3rd PS2
well my 2nd but its the 3rd I have in home
1st broke because of sis
2nd was replacement for first (warenty so didnt cost me)
and that 2nd broke 2 days ago so bought a new one.
I never game on PC, doesnt give the same experiance as concole gaming. concoles are way more fun in gameplay and have way better games.
I have yet to see a game as Devil May Cry or Zone of the Enders on PC.

ps2, xbobx, w/e all consoles, u cant upgrade graphics, for PC u can always upgrade, and get better quality, u can modify tons of things, xbox was created by microsoft... and microsoft is sorta lieka computer company, so xbox is sort of a ripoff of a PC, and X-BOX has best graphics otu of al lthe consoles right now(not including PC)

Stupid. I thought Microsoft made ''motherprograms''. They don't make PC's. So a Xbox is not a real PC, even if you can run Linux on it. It's actually supposed to run Windows, if you want to connect it to Microsoft.
You can't go farther then what the game can do.
If you were EA, you could seriously throw down the graphics, and then the PS2 still has the best.
Ahahahaha. Oh, and it's stupid to compare a console with a PC. A console is an entertainment machine, a PC isn't only focused on that, but more things.

lol, this was a console thread, but the discussion is turned in pc only
btw, with pc you can do anything you want, but if you just wanna play some videogames console is the only choose I think (the price is about 1/7 - 1/10 than a pc, and the graphic engine is very powerfull today); but this only if you wanna just play, I repeat

I just heard that the ps3 is gonna use blu-ray disc. Now im wondering what the xbox 2 and nintendo revolution are going to use. Go to IGN for more facts.
The name Blu-ray is derived from the blue laser used to read and record onto Blu-ray discs. The incorrect spelling of "Blu" is for trademark purposes, according to the Blu-ray Disc Association. The use of a blue laser enables Blu-ray discs a much higher density and as a result larger storage capacity. High-definition television signals are typically broadcast at 19 Megabits per second. With single-layered and dual-layered Blu-ray discs at 25 and 50 Gigabytes respectively, the medium can support phenomenal data rates of 36 Megabits per second and previously unattainable television resolutions of 1920x1080, more than double that of today's DVDs. Industry reports suggest that Sony may be in development with Blu-ray discs that can hold as much as a staggering 100 Gigabytes, more than some computer hard drives.
The biggest downside to Blu-ray technology is that manufacturers will need to create costly new infrastructures for developing them, as the process is entirely different from belting out red laser DVDs and players. Still, the backers of the technology do not seem discouraged.
