Hi,
Since EA just released a budget version of NFSU 1 here, I wonder if it is worth its price - is the online multiplayer mode good?
I heard that NFSU 2's multiplayer mode is still very unpopular.
How many people play NFSU 1 online?
Thanks,
-Lars

Yes, they should support software like "The All Seeing Eye", most in-game game-browsers are crap. If you can join a game by specifying an IP-address, you can use an external tool - but I suspect NFSU does not support that.
What is really ridiculous is that you have to first (NFSU2) start a LAN server and then host a game - seems the programmers were too lazy to support simple hosting and simply cloned the "EA Master Server -> registers games hosted" functionality.
Seems you are basically running a miniature version of the EA Master Server on your local machine each time you host a LAN game.
I suspect they concentrate on console games anyway since PC games are pirated too easily these days.
