Go to http://www.phpbb.com, download the file, read the manual. You need to have PHP on your server in order for the board to work.

Well, it looks like you have PHP. I can't really make it any easier for you. You just have to read and understand the directions that come with the phpbb files.

You dont' read the php files. In the .zip, there's a .txt file that explains how to set up the board..

Ikonboard is a good one. That and phpbb2 are the only ones I used so i don't really know of any others. Do a search on Google.

One important thing... For PHPBB you need MySQL.
If you have it, then download PHPBB 2.0.5 full package, upload everything and run the file install.php that is in install subdirectory.

how do i upload mySQL onto my site??? I have a folder with all the files of the site.... (index.html, etc.) How do I make it have MySQL??

You can't. The server administrator has to set it up.

You guys are really helpful. I come to NFS Unlimited everyday to check out the new stuff. If there isn't any, then I go to the NFS Unlimited Forum. SuperRacer, thanx for the forum and cd-rom help!
