OK lets see what happens if we compare it with another game:
I tried to do the same yellow car. Not possible at 100%. Taken with the same gfx card, settings, resolution and no AA (like the nfsu pic)
Same pics quality (about 140kb) and image size

Notice the CF hood and CF wing. That is how CF looks actually, and not the crappy grey thing in nfsu.

As Juiced hasnt released yet,IMO, it would be unfair for any type of comparison.

yeah the JUICED DEMO looked nice but it also has MAJOR WEAKPOINTS
the background wasn't that good:
- it had the PUPPETPALS as CROWD.
- the overall view was a bit weird compared to other games (don't want to call it toony but just not really realistic)
YEAH NFSU2 had loads of lights effects and so on (also not realistic)

cars:
yeah they had real bodyparts and so on but:
- the headlights (and rearlight) where NOT made NICELY at ALL ---> just take a look at the new type CELICA!

like said both have their GOOD points and BAD points
if you can even compare a DEMO of a game that is planned NEXT year

It is a nfsu2/Juiced comparison. It belongs in nfs general discussion. Im talking about Need for Speed 8. I want people to see how much sucks nfsu graphics compared with other game. Once again, I am talking about need for speed, not about Half Life or another game.

Obviously the General discussion is more popular than The Games one.
This thread won't be read as much as it would be in the other section.
Im saying nfsu2 is not good, and I think this is why you moved this thread to Games.

Yes nfsu2 is a full game, so it shoud be better than a simple Demo Im comparing with.
It is not useless... I want to share my pictures, taken with the same gfx settings, and discuss about it. People can take their screens aswell.

Well I had the money...
the main reason: Juiced is not going to be released till the summer.
and... I like nfsunlimited, the showroom etc. It is still possible to make decent cars. But TOO difficult. I like abstract art, but hate abstract cars.

that is not important for me. I prefer well made cars better than well made crowds. I want to hear more weak points... cmon try to find them

Well... (I dont agree) I think you can't purchase new lights, cause there were always the stock ones in the demo, which is a weak Juiced point.

Are nfsu2 lights better? LOL. Man there are 15 headlights and only 2 of them are semi-logical, and 4-5 good rearlights out of 15.

I dont care about headlights, since Juiced has got more beautiful: bumpers + wings + rims + muffler tips..... everything!!!

I think this NFSU2 - Juiced battle has gone on for a while yet (...and will go on again...)
I love NFSU2, but I agree with Sparco for some points.
The graphic is smoother, and car geometry looks better, but...we can know just this, cause Juiced is only a demo and NFSU2 not; so I will patiently wait for the full release to try it and see all the differences between NFSU2. Maybe it is really better than it, or maybe this little things are the only Juiced has more than NFSU2...Juiced is promising, so it can have equal success of Underground2, or better, or less...let's see asap...

Well, if it ran Juiced better than NFS U2, then it shouldnt be weaker. Man, I think juiced has better graphics. No ugly wide body kits unlike NFSU2.

The Widebodys on NFSU2 are the worst, which is true. But the CF hood is WAY better than juiced! I've seen a REAL CF hood on a CRX and it had a style similar to nfsu. NOT similar to Juiced. All juiced does is paint the hood black and says it's cf. Also, the Juiced lights are NOT realistic. In fact, they SUCK...

The point that NFSU2 is a bright game, which i mean that it's very full of light, is normal. Think of New York City, China, every place filled with animations on windows and casinos all over the place. EA made a fantasy city with similar thoughts to the real ones. Think of your own city in that style, I bet you will come up with very similar things.

The Juiced people are cardboard.

The neons in Juiced are like old NFSU1 style, which is unrealistic.

If I had to choose a Racing Game of the Year, It would be NFSU1! Shocking, huh? NFSU1 is old, but is better than Underground 2.

yeah the CF in NFS U2 isn't totally bad. but IMO it is to light in color.

I think they should just have made it abit darker and it would be perfect. cause it got the structure.

then again I juiced you can choose a BLACK hood and I don't know if the car SPARCO has is a real CF hood... cause in my demo the cf looks pretty good... it got cf struckture and all..

if they guys from EA jsut made the CF a tint darker it would be great... especially on the hoods it often looks really light grey

Juiced is way slicker than ug2 on my computer.

my settings for nfsu2 and juiced are:
Max every gfx option
1240/1024 res (max for both) or something

Juiced looks nicest in the evening.

These are also my playable options. I dont have to worry about turning down my gfx to play or turning up for screenshots. I will try your making nfsu2 pics better than juiced challenge but I dont think its possible. When I can I will get some pics of each and then compare them.

Am I allowed to turn down the res on juiced?

Apparently, Juiced is alot smoother. I got the same GFX card, and get some shiznit GFX with NFSU2. Then I have games that look alot smoother with better FPS.
