dont call me biased, but my precisely tuned vehicle satisfies me more than any other car in the game... so IMO, the choice is between the Civic, the Civic, and the Civic....

which one do you chose?

I find the performance of the cars somewhat confusing in this game.

The car I've done the fastest drag time in is my 3x Perfomrance Uniqued, all Level 3 Carbon Fiber Vauxhall Corsa. However, I get creamed by the AI. If I use a slower car (complete the course in about 2 to 4 seconds slower than in the Turtle) I win by a country mile! I know this is the screwed AI, but this is ludicrous.

Whilst playing with the cars I hadn't so far used, in Quick Race mode, I tried the Toyota Corolla AE86. Bearing in mind that I have been unable to get a Supra or Mustang over 220 mph, and the Pontiac GTO over 240mph on the performance tuning bit, the Corolla (all Level 3, no uniques obviously) can be tuned to 250mph!

Therefore, the Corolla gets my vote as best drag car.

I find the RX-7 with its 22.25 second time.
Next up is the 240SX with 22.40 second time.
I had the GT-R out for a run as well, but it clocked in at 23 seconds.

I use the RX7 online for strictly drag and on Bayview bridge my BEST best time is 20.60. I was toying around with shifting high in the green as opposed to low in the green and the high gave me this time. I have had some sub 21.55 times but I have yet to reproduce that time or lower.

And I know that others have gone faster, I've seen 240ies get low 20ies.

I guess its all in the tuning or I must need more caffene.

I'll post a stats screenshot later, can't get one from work yet

Yeah, the 240's may go lower, but make those drivers do the same in a RX-7, notice that they will go faster ;)
I have been testing both cars with the same skill so I guess those numbers are pretty accurate.
